I’m stuck with Rocket City. Used to live in Huntsville, AL then moved to Belleville, IL. Name stuck though.
The only thing to do in such a situation is to pressure the town fathers of Belleville to rebrand as Rocket City.
Not sure where to put this, but since it could impact recruiting in the future I chose here. I’m sure Dan will move if not appropriate here.

I’ve always half wondered what your guys draw was to come on here each day. Obviously we show up daily to hear what info you guys have to offer. I really liked your perspective on that and it answered a question I’ve never asked on here. Thank you for sharingI appreciate that my friend … Just try to share the info I’m privileged to get … No reason for me to charge anything … I’ve been approached many times about joining a subscription based site … and there’s a reason why I never will …
I’m sure there are quite a few guys on here who share this info with their young kids or even some younger guys/girls on here who love the Illini and recruiting in general that just don’t have the $$ to pay for a subscription …
Also a quick story I got from someone on here and I won’t out who they are but they shared this with me not that long ago … They said that they along with their father have been illini fans their entire life but didn’t always see eye to eye … Hadn’t spoken in years … Well their fathers health was declining and they decided to try and make peace … And every week this person would go in to see their father and talk to them about the things that were talked about on here from me and many others … Players we might add, who we were recruiting, etc. … If I had dropped a “boom” gif recently … I mean it’s stories like those that make me really appreciate this place we’ve got … Theres always going to be negativity in life but never forget the impact you can have on people you don’t even know …
I think the problem they are trying to solve has more to do with guys projected at the top of the draft refusing to participate fully in the combine, and/or refusing to release medical records to all teams, in an attempt to influence where they go. Doesn't seem like it impacts guys seeking feedback, who pull out of the draft.

On the subject of sharing information, I stumbled upon the IB freeboard many moons ago. At the time, I still had a source close to the program, long since retired. I shared some recruiting info I had heard from my source. Got moderated for revealing premium information. I had no idea what that even meant at the time.
