If Nembhard goes to AZ, do you think with what we are recruiting at PG, Boswell would entertain here or become an option to be one of our top options? The dude would at least meet the standards of not being a freshman, could be a local legend, and I think could have one heck of a sophomore leap.Honestly - the second I heard about Nembhard … I thought he’d be gone …
Which makes me think Gonzaga is very much in play …
Boswell didn’t go to AZ to play the 2 …
Yuck, eww, nasty, my eyes! Why would he want to go to Tempe??

Check out Indy’s gifsFor those who don't know. Who do yall think the pg and big everybody is talking about are???
I noticed this as well and, because of the timing, I thought it had to do with Storr. Glad to see I was wrong. For us ? It’s still on the table … Just gonna be tough to navigate …
It’s not really a secret the 4 players I was referring to & I have confirmed we do indeed have the $$ to support it …
Interesting that we're not getting a visit?Check out Indy’s gifs
So Hunter was in Indy’s gif… but also thinks Kansas lands him.. soo…. What’s up with that?

Thanks.Do we have the money for Hunter ? Yes.
Would we take Hunter ? Yes.
Does he have a visit set up at this very moment ? No.
Does Kansas have all of those 3 things listed above … Yes …
Which leads me to believe … As of right now … Kansas is the team to beat …
I went there for grad school. Can confirm. Can confirm this is exactly what Tempe looks like …
Was there very recently …
Thanks for the 'splainer. Not for a lack of trying …
Don't Tempt Me.....Why would he want to go to Tempe??

Maybe he’s not going to bother with a trip until there’s clarity with the TSJ situation? Not for a lack of trying …
I’m on a few different Illini Fan Facebook pages, and after Paxton announced he was leaving, there were many, many posts made by his dad on almost all of them about how unfair BU was to his son, and how his son should have played more minutes. He also sarcastically trash talked the new walk-on that since his family was a friend of BU, the new kid would get his son’s minutes. Some parents just don’t get it…
Mill Avenue is a great place to hang out, both the bars and the laid back coffee shops. The people are nice. The scenery .... Students, if they go home for the summer, miss 3 of the 6 really bad weather months (daily 100+ until after 10pm).Went to college in Phoenix. Tempe is a whole other level for college atmosphere. Mill Avenue is great. Just a great school.
I understand where you're coming from. I can remember when I once looked down on schools that had to regularly bring in Juco players to plug holes in their rosters as programs that weren't able to build a sustainable culture and develop their players. Those days are now gone forever and instead of Jucos it's now division 1 players jumping ship for what they hope are greener pastures (more $$, more PT, or more chances to be higher in the scoring pecking order). I've always been a fan of the college game over the pro's, in part because you could watch these freshmen develop and mature into a team, and wondering during the off season who'd make a big jump the next season. Now I'm left with watching a bunch of free agents who happen to wear he jersey of my alma mater for perhaps that season only. Something has been lost from the joy of college basketball forever, unless changes are made to these transfer rules. That's a head scratcher , to say the least......I had high hopes for R J .........now he's just another college BB player , to me....
Probably best for all parties for him to move on ......This reinforce's my statement that going forward I will limit my attachment to the MBB players until they attend at least 3 years at UI......................This wild , wild west scenario is gonna be hard for me to get used to as I have fond memories of a player being recruited , then graduating from the University of Illinois after 3-4 years of donning the O & B............
I imagine this will cause , as has been speculated before in one of the many threads , some coaches to retire earlier than in the past.....BU has stated many times the challenges to restocking a roster with 5-8 new players each year........
I am all for the players to get paid , but the rush for the $$$ has caused a pullback by this old fart........Scorecards are needed to see who's playing from game to game .......I know that's an exaggeration of what is really happening , but maybe one day we will see a MBB player play the first half for one team and then trade jersey's and play for the other team in the second half......
Moderation seems to be needed before it gets totally out of hand..........JMHO
Taylorville native. Part of undefeated state championship team.Johnny Orr. Three time MVP at Beloit, two time All American. Still stands as second best scorer in school history.
True. That record will probably last forever. My grandfather was in his graduating class in Taylorville, IL. Senior year that team went 45-0 which, I believe, was never topped (at least in IL HS).
Yea, and also committed to potential flare ups in the nether regions. If I was a recruit … Probably a 0% chance I’m leaving uncommitted …
Don’t think Slick Rick could even compete …
I’d be shocked if he stayed in the Big Ten. Like the Nance kid last year.So Hunter was in Indy’s gif… but also thinks Kansas lands him.. soo…. What’s up with that?
Any chance #3 and #4 have been talking about joining forces? For us ? It’s still on the table … Just gonna be tough to navigate …
