That’s great news. Glad he’s on board as long as it doesn’t make somebody on the current roster decide to transfer out because of his signing
They need to win. The criticism that BU got for "only" winning 20 games was ridiculous. If anyone on the roster is afraid of internal competition....BU won't want that person and understandably so. You can't construct a roster of guys who if they can't start, they pick up their bats and ball and go home. That's a me first vs a we first attitude.

So if the roster fills out the way I just alluded to… What’re realistic expectations next year?

On one hand…

You’ll have 7 guys who have averaged 9.5+ ppg in a season at the D1 level.

Plenty of experience & multiple guys who have been or have proven to be “the guy”

On the other hand…

Not too much PG or C depth…

Bring back half of a roster that was just a above average team last year…

Last year I had a lot of expectations & was disappointed with how the season turned out. Not because it was a “bad” year, but there was a lot left on the table of what that team could’ve been…

I think the way this roster is constructed we have guys who are more willing to play a role & win rather than either proving they belong individually or playing for draft status…

If they buy in: Top 3 Big Ten Finish, top 5 seed in the tourney…

If it’s up & down again… top half finish, top 8 seed again is probably the floor…

This group should win 21-25 games, and win 11-14 big ten games and I’ll be pretty happy 🤷🏻‍♂️
I think that we're going to have an addition by subtraction situation. I don't think that everyone was rowing in the same direction with the common goal.

Well, it sounds like that was the arrangement made with Skyy. So yes, not a good way to do business.

Early 80s and no money, two Pizza World pizzas on a Friday and I had BLD for the weekend lol!
So I was working for Domino's Pizza in Champaign, circa 1981 when it first opened (delivery dude). As the story goes, Pizza World was a Domino's franchise originally. There was a lawsuit regarding franchising rights and location's. The result was that Dominos had to vacate the area for like 5 years and PW had to change the name and ingredient sources. After 5 years Domino's could return...."And that's the way it was."

Agree. I also feel like MM got the green light 100% of the time and that being the #1 or #2 option was a guarantee. Comments that he made about TSJ and him sharing the shots(his turn/my turn) didn't sit quite right. It also isn't a BU methodology. He likes the ball moving, everyone touching it, making the extra pass to make a good shot a great shot. That wasn't happening.....at all. It was a lot of isolation ball that resulted in heaves with one second left on the shot clock. There were never any minutes reductions given that level of play. That's the "me ball vs we ball" that I saw. Seems like BU is trying to bring in more complimentary pieces vs ball dominant guys.
