Well there ya go. Oregon wasn’t great this year, so wouldn’t just go by records of other teams to come up with the group of “at or around Oregon’s level.” But they are a legit P5 team and had legit P5 bigs — Quincy (6-8, 220), Dante (6-11, 230), Ware (7-0, 210) and Wur (6-9, 205). Wonder how many of the teams you put in that group had bigs like that or what he’ll see in B1G. But if BU likes him, I’m on board.
The cohort group was Pomeroy’s tier A, more or less equal to quad 1 and 2 games in NET. I didn’t think too much harder about it than that but am pretty confident that you can learn more from eight games than one. You can learn more from any number of games than one, I think.

No. Right out of the gate. I guess strictly speaking, Moretti would be a redshirt freshman? We've had too many outstanding freshman pgs over the years for me to worry about a frosh at the point. Harper, Frankie, Kiwane, Deron, the list could go on. But I'm like really tired. It's been a long day.
Those 4 are the cream of the crop. I don’t think DGL or Moretti are at that level.

Ty's gonna make you look silly.
Yep, watching him on that HS all star team, he has a nice mid-range floater that I'd like to see him take more often. Plus lots and lots of practice shooting FTs and 3s this off season, please Ty

We already know what kind of rebounder he is often with put backs as well on O or starting fast breaks on D

Out of curiosity, just wondering why the insiders and others are saying DGL has very little chance of playing next year? Tyler Ulis, at 5’9” plays very meaningful minutes (SEC All-Freshman Team), as a Kentucky freshmen them All-American as a sophomore. DGL seams to have skill and seems to be much more athletic. Other than outside distractions, why are some writing him off already?

Guys ranked #19 get to start as freshmen. Guys ranked #126 generally do not.
