I would be shocked if there's any recruiting news for quite a while. Illinois is full on scholarships, and there's not a peep in Twitterland or elsewhere that they're actively involved in many recruitments (except maybe Wilcher or Johnson although neither seem realistic). IMHO, it's safe to take a break from this thread at least.

I was at that game. 6th row from the floor along the baseline. If Augie or Roger so much as shed a drop of sweat on Sean May, they were called for a foul. Meanwhile, Powell got practically assaulted when he got the ball in the paint and it was never called. The NCAA and the Refs were on the Roy Williams deserves to win an NCAA title bandwagon and it showed. Plus I assume our guys at least went to class sometimes unlike the NC players. A travesty!

Definitely some stage of denial and I’ll preface this with I’m not gonna riot if by whatever miracle it happens, but I don’t really want rayj on this roster anymore.

Clearly jerked this staff around at an all time high rate. Clearly doesn’t want to be here as at least a first maybe even second choice. To me, if it were to happen, it has to bring up some sort of chemistry issue.
You must have missed the hat fiasco.

Or some other bandwagon.

Auggie fouled out in 9 minutes with zero points and 2 rebounds. We shot 6 free throws to their 19.
As much as I hated the refs in that game, those numbers aren't as out of whack as it seems considering the playing styles of the two teams. They averaged 27 FTA (4th in the nation) while we were at 17 (303rd)

on paper, sure. that said, we were royally jobbed
Agreed, but refs tend to reward the more "aggressive" team, which usually just means the team that drives/posts a lot. It's a shame we didn't just shoot our average % and none of that would've mattered
