Based on last years numbers, this team really needs to work on its passing, with or with a new PG.

Thanks - I'm not sure where to look for this, but it would be interesting to see those numbers adjusted for pace/tempo. I believe I've seen others here mention that the Illini were a relatvely fast-paced team (number of offensive possessions) and if that is the case these numbers are even worse than they appear. I may have this exactly backwards however, so forgive me if my memory is faulty.

Loyalty "realists" getting all ready to wreck the new recruiting thread with rehashing of all things Skyy Clark, Jayden Epps, Brandin Podziemski while also putting their medical degrees to work with their astute evaluations of Jeremiah Williams injury prognosis not to mention their years and years of Div I coaching experience:

While I agree we need someone to better pass the ball, I wonder to what degree those numbers are due to offensive style. A team like Purdue likely has a high number of assists because Edey needs to be passed the ball to score. How does the number of assists equate to victories?

You mean offering thoughts and opinions on a forum about IL Basketball? Shocking.

Does anyone else smile have a side smile and happiness in the gut when they look at UK roster and only 7 scholarship players on roster. They got a "big commit" yesterday from the #187 recruit a 3⭐ 6'9" 190 pounder...the day of the burger boys may be getting away! 6'9" 190, he needs to eat a cheeseburger, or two!

Please tell me UK boards are at a meltdown level that makes Loyalty look like Pippi Longstocking's tea party.
