The fact is, people are politely asking for a small change in behavior that would make this awesome place more welcoming for everybody.
If that’s too tough for y’all, fine. But don’t attack people for a very reasonable request. And when y’all say stuff like above, it will drive people away from this site, whether you want to believe it or not.
And if you’d rather people block you then make some easy compromises, that says a lot more about y’all than the “prudes” blocking you.

I am in the camp of the ad nauseam request getting repeated on recruiting thread after recruiting thread rather cumbersome, especially when an end user can simply use their own behavior to mitigate their perceived issue.
We know there are only 3 outcomes:
1) Behavior of "offending" user will change, which he/she has no reason to, and there is no indication a change would happen anyway
2) Dan bans "offending" user, which removes valid content from being shared
3) End user uses the ignore feature, which removes the content they don't want to see
I think it is clear the option I prefer.
