Can confirm. Brad was definitely doing work today at the outing. Overheard him multiple times hyping the kid. Enough smoke blown up dads !!! there was probably smoke signals seen in Chicago.

Not saying it is a done deal, just think it's odd that this kid is on our radar & a lot of other options we didn't reach out to, or was too stubborn, or whatever else.

Somewhat local kid that would add some experience and clearly plays hard. Don't know how well his offensive game would translate and he's small but would likely be able to give you some decent minutes of the bench if needed. Also, his teammates seemingly love him and were fairly emotional when he got injured so could be very good for the locker room.

Downside would be that he would fill the final scholarship spot in the event that someone more valuable becomes available just before the year or you have an early transfer(like Dainja did). Also would he even be interested in coming for what would likely be a bit role?

Would rather give the backup
minutes to DGL.
Need to keep that kid.
