Maybe Brad's trying to channel Herb Brooks by talking about bringing in a talented player late to light a fire under his guys for a Miracle on Ice run?

Honestly though, I think looking into him is fine, but you better be damn sure of what you're doing if you're deeply considering pulling the trigger. Because if we do it and then lose Ty or Sencire at season's end, I'll be fairly crushed.
Great point.

Patton only had 4 stars.

Ike, on the other hand...

JFK, on the other hand, only had one star...but when your one star is Marilyn Monroe one star is plenty.

Well I see people saying they're 5 star players, but I can't find them listed as 5 stars anywhere, except a rivals article from 2021 saying one would be 5 star the other 4. So my best guess is in 2021 as Sophs, they were projected to be 5 stars for the 2023 class. But it seems once they went to OTE, either they were left off of top 100 lists, or weren't good enough to make the lists.
That makes more sense... Although the other offers looked legit so I was curious

Call me a progressive but that feels like a bigger sin than premarital fornication.
Yeah they tend to really frown on premarital fornication; but postmarital fornication is apparently okay as long as you are also present-married to your mutual fornicator.

Also stabbing a fornicating spouse and a rival, non-married fornicator with a javelin is apparently okay?

Hard pass for me on Glover. Nothing in that highlight video really impressed me. We're talking about very weak competition there. He doesn't really have any games against top competition. He's not a big assist guy. He's short.

Indy saying starting minutes up for grabs. Is that saying we've got few locks, or that we don't have capable starters?

These guys showed up early. Practicing, hopefully gelling. Time to lock in the lineup. Sure, I'd take a rock solid starter. But Glover doesn't look to change this year's team much for the better, and if it screws up chemistry, it could be for the worse.

I'm not even sure why BU is looking. Kinda disappointing to me.
Well given that K State is in pursuit he has a very solid offer from a good coach. If BU wants him then I'm am all for it. We need depth. Ty is a good second option but vs pressure its been a bit shaky.

I have no idea what the situation is with KState with regard to their roster.

I totally disagree that we need depth. All indications are that we have it right now.

At PG? We literally don't have a single experienced PG on our roster. Sure, we have depth elsewhere. However PG was BUs top priority this off season. Maybe BU is more confident with DGLs play so that may have changed some but even so we lack depth and experience at PG. I believe Indy if he said BU made International phone calls because he is interested. If he wasn't he wouldn't make the call.

I’m on the fence about adding someone this late that doesn’t appear to move the needle much in the right direction. I don’t personally see the need for him but Underwood wouldn’t pursue him if he thought it would be detrimental to the team.

Hopefully he understands the ins and outs of that better after the chemistry fiasco of last season.

Let me start by saying I am not a fan of Ty at PG …

However if that’s what Brad chooses to do then fine … If Ty gets hurt … That leaves us with 1 primary ball handler … DGL … And what happens when he picks up 2 quick fouls (which he will, he’s a freshman) … Who’s gonna handle the ball because if the answer is Hawkins, or Harris ? That’s not the right answer … Neither one of them is a primary ball handler …

Brad needs to add another guard … Will he ? Idk … But I have a feeling it could come back to really bite us if he doesn’t …

Harmon, right? I know he's really more of a 2 but I'd assume he's option C

I really, really want to like Brad. And I think he is a good coach. And he brought us back from a !!!!!! place.

BUT, he just reminds me of Gene Keady.

Brad needs to add another guard …

I thought Moretti was the emergency 3rd string ball-handler, and yesterday it looked like he might be able to handle that role -- where hopefully we never see him unless Ty gets hurt.

And as always, thx for your input Indy.

Moretti just isn’t a big ten caliber player at this point … There’s no getting around it …

Ty … He continues to struggle finishing at the rim … Way too many turnovers … And still struggles at the FT line … Can’t have that from your PG …

DGL … Solid backup … But he’s a freshman … It’s gonna take him some time … That team we played yesterday was garbage … He’s gonna be tasked with Hoggard, Johnson, etc. … That’s a different ball game … Especially defensively …

Harmon … Might as well work at Arby’s … Was a turnover machine with the ball in his hand … I like him but his ball handling is the worst of all of our guards … He ain’t the answer either …

Harris is an off guard … He can’t be your primary ball handler …

All of that to say … Just like I told Brad … We need to just go get Glover … It’s insurance at worst … At best, it’s your starting PG …

Don’t disagree with your overall point (hope we get Ques, but he seems K-State-bound), but Harmon is definitely a better ball-handler than Sencire

Someday we’ll find out Indy’s relationship to Brad, not now, but someday. I can’t wait!

Maybe this guy runs the point better than Harmon. But I don't see that.

2.1 APG last year. Harmon 2.9. Harmon played against much better competition.

What I see is a guy who's not temperamentally suited to be a PG on a team like ours and just adding to our scoring group, which is plenty stocked.
