I’ve heard a lot of different things about this over the past couple days … But just keep an eye on this one …
He does not play AAU … So it’s a little harder to talk with people close to him that know what’s going on … But he just killed it at the Elite 24 …
I’ve been told Chester has us in the top group, potential re-class to 2023 and could definitely enroll at semester … This could get interesting fast …

That's a really high ranking. Being a 4 is slightly awkward for us as a 23 reclass if he's looking to play right away. Does he just want to enroll early or is he looking for floor time immediately? And even next year in '24-25, with Morez, Dain, Ty, and Amani all as frontcourt someone would be getting squeezed, no? Bryson Tucker is a 6-6, 180-pound Small Forward from Baltimore, MD.
He is listed at 6'6 180 so I don't see why he would be projected as a 4. I don't know his style of play but those measurements seem much more likely to be a 3 or even a bigger 2. With Shannon, Domask and Harmon all graduating and only one more season of eligibility for Goode, those are positions of need.
Yeah 24/7 has him listed as SF. Playing time this year might be an issue, but then again with his ranking maybe not. Certainly not an issue after that.
Yeah, I'd assume with that type of rank, he'd be an instant starter. But similarly, it means one of our other guys in Amani or Ty is going to the bench next year. Maybe Ty gets coverted to guard full time then? But Amani would pry still be squeezed out then by Morez and Bryson in that case? If Bryson can convert to a guard, there's no issue. But if he does play the 4, someone would almost have to lose a spot I'd think.
If he's available you obviously go after a top 25 in the nation player, just a little awkward fit for us as we have a lot of openings at guard and heavy at small forward how I see it

what's the difference between a 2 and a 3? In reality there's only PG and Wing.
So if you have a top 25 that is a legit 5 star, he immediately plays over your mid-major transfers. Looking at his vids, this kid looks like an NBA player. If you think you're going to tell him, well we've got a transfer from Southern Illinois that's going to start, but we'll work you in. Then don't waste your time recruiting 5 star kids.

Fears likely to reclass
Literally the best kind of problems to have.
Typically, size and ball handling. Plummer could play the 2 at 6'1" but he isn't going to be able to guard guys like Bryce Sensabaugh, Kris/Keegan Murray, Aundre Hyatt, Brooks Barnhizer, Jett Howard, Mason Gillis, Hakim Hart, Miller Kopp, etcetera. The 2 is also going to be more of a primary ball-handler, so you need someone there who can be serviceable in that area.
EDIT: I should clarify I am talking about the college level. In the NBA, the players at those positions become much more similar as the 2's generally have good size for the position (very rarely going to see a 6'1" guy playing SG in the NBA) and 3's generally are much, much better ball-handlers at that level as well.
