I know this isn’t recruiting related, but I-L-L made a comment in the now locked thread about Coach Carter being fiction and I just thought that needed correcting…..Coach Carter is not fiction. It was based on a true story about Ken Carter and him coaching at Richmond High School in Richmond, CA. I’ve met him. Super cool dude.

Fears: "Hair counts"
pffft, that's even worse wasted height than a long neck. Speaking of necks, I don't know, Jeremiah might be a little longer than average there. Effective height is probably somewhere around 5'4", but he's still got skills.

Brad looks so short on television haha, but standing next to him, he's got to be like 6-2 or 6-3 or so.

Someone please fill me in on Fears. Is he likely to be 40% from the arc or another Frazier...willing to shoot but not always dependable? Can he defend like Frazier?

Fears is league bound (2 years in college, probably). Offensively, he's on a different plane than Trent was on. His ability to get to the hole is far, far better than Trent's. He's a gifted distributor and VG scoring point. Frazier was more of a combo than a point. Prep Trent wasn't remotely close to upperclassman Trent, defensively. Fears is a very good defender. It's all about want to. WRT long range 40%. That's a big ask. Dunno, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I’d say those are some very big asks. Trent was one of the best perimeter defenders we’ve had in awhile and, according to ESPN, last year only 30 players nationally shot 40% or higher (35 if you want to round up). I believe Trent shot over 40% one year, though his final year was well below that

We will only know in a couple of years
