Can't believe we haven't seen the

I don't know if this has been discussed elsewhere but did Underwood shifted his prep player recruiting strategy a little bit since 21/22? Did it change slightly from higher ranking/ceiling to players we can accommodate more easily (i.e., reasonable NIL money ask)? Just curious.

It seems like he's going after guys that might not necessarily play a ton as freshman but are willing to develop and not transfer out immediately.

Obviously exceptions like Morez where I think he might go after a top tier guy they think can play immediately then build depth with lower ranked guys that buy in.

I'm assuming the plan is to keep guys in the program for 3-4 years and supplement with the portal. It's difficult to build stay old if you constantly have people leaving after their freshman season.

Dike Edelman, Eddie Johnson, Kendall Gill, Kenny Battle, and Derek Harper
I get that you might be an old head, but I hate to break it to you that kids now are MUCH more athletic than when any of these guys played. Relative athleticism to the rest of the league? Sure, could be relatively more athletic. As it goes for just athleticism straight up they do not even come close to competing.

Ok….. I’ll start here.

This doesn’t have Efrem Winters, Brian Randle, Brandon Paul and for just straight up freak athlete…. Bryant Notree and Calvin Brock. Shoot Rennie Clemons may have been more athletic than all of them.
Like I said to the other guy, I get you may be an old head but kids nowadays are significantly more athletic than they were then. If you don’t believe me you can look at the draft combine numbers, numbers the school gave from practices, etc. TSJ is easily faster and stronger than any of those players and has the same amount of hops on a much bigger frame. Again, if you don’t believe me you can look at combine stats.

Not to mention, the fact that 95% of the dunks in the video look like average dunks that TSJ does in every game and those are the HIGHLIGHTS… yeah I’d say he’s more athletic

Also, you can’t find good highlights of Rennie Clemons, but, here his him as a Freshman, pre-dunk on Shaq days. This guy was Derrick Rose level athlete, with 1/4th skill.

First 30 seconds. He was 6’0”

Watch the last 30 seconds of this one.

This guy was ALL athlete

You keep linking videos of guys doing stuff we’ve seen TSJ do before lol.

Not to mention not a single one of these guys even come close to TSJs speed or quickness and are very clearly not nearly as strong as him.

I don’t know what to tell you, you are just wrong.

Nick Anderson, Kenny Battle, Kendall Gill, Brian Randle did something EVERY GAME, that made you say “What the &$(/?”
