How many players do we think we will lose next year?
I see 6, the 4 seniors, Coleman and Dain.
Coleman is a senior, too.

I obviously would rather they didn't but I feel like we are definitely going to see one of Harris, DGL, or Moretti try their chances with the portal. It doesn't seem as if any are on track to be starters next year so at least one won't be happy with their projected PT.How many players do we think we will lose next year?

I suppose its possible if we add too much talent through the portal. If we aren't hunting for a top dawg transfer guard this offseason that is a great sign that Harris has improved a TON and will be trusted with a bigger role. Lots of PT available. I know Brad isn't scared to add top level talent even if it means someone elses PT might go down. I really think DGL and Hansberry can see there time will come. I know with this day and age, don't be surprised by anything though.I obviously would rather they didn't but I feel like we are definitely going to see one of Harris, DGL, or Moretti try their chances with the portal. oh boy , oh boy , oh boy............that's basically you missed from 1 of the announcer's.....................Nice choice not using listening to Metamora Homer. Tough listen.
I'd be surprised if Brad doesn't go for a major transfer guard or two this time round. Harris would need to make major strides on offense to be given anything outside of a bench role. Rodgers is going to start and so will likely Morez who are both non-shooters for the most part.I suppose its possible if we add too much talent through the portal. Not an insider, but it seems like it's in his and the programs best interest. He'll get great tick elsewhere, and we can use a scholarship for someone that fits the system better.Dain gone in your opinion?
Agree with you here, ESPECIALLY if 2nd time transfers never have to sit out anymore. Not an insider, but it seems like it's in his and the programs best interest. He'll get great tick elsewhere, and we can use a scholarship for someone that fits the system better.
Love Dain, but I really hope to see him go somewhere so we can watch him get a double double every night.
Yes but still has the COVID +1 year. The other seniors are out of eligibilityColeman is a senior, too.
Dain is on track to graduateAgree with you here, ESPECIALLY if 2nd time transfers never have to sit out anymore.
You can’t just put Morez in the same conversation of non shooters when you mentioned Ty.Have you seen his games lately ?….he takes deep 2’s and 3’s. Might not be a consistent 3 point shooter, but he does shoot from outside unlike Ty.I'd be surprised if Brad doesn't go for a major transfer guard or two this time round. We’re a much better team with him back. IMO, pay him what he wants.Yes but still has the COVID +1 year. The other seniors are out of eligibility
Edit: I think we all agree he’s probably gone
He wants to go to the league! If he continues to play well and show he can be a reliable threat from 3, that is where he will be next season. I don't think it will have anything to do with how much NIL we offered. We’re a much better team with him back. IMO, pay him what he wants.
They’re a-comin’. Kid is a stud. Why is he lacking other high major offers? Transfer portal affecting HS recruiting that bad?

Agreed on that’s where he wants to be. I don’t see him coming back but I think it’s ultimately the best financial decision to do so unless his stock goes up a lot higher. He wants to go to the league! Sorry can’t keep up. Who is the young man? They’re a-comin’. Kid is a stud.
But yes with the current state of the portal, programs are reallyyyy scaling back their prep recruiting. That will normalize when these extra covid years are exhausted.
Magwood I thinkSorry can’t keep up. Who is the young man?
The 2 time transfer rule is in the courts. That is why AC and Miller are playing right now. If the 2 time transfer rule goes out the window the transfer portal will be crazierAgree with you here, ESPECIALLY if 2nd time transfers never have to sit out anymore.
On a related note, I've really scaled back my religious reading of the recruiting thread. It remains to be seen if that will normalize. They’re a-comin’. Kid is a stud.
