Is there a limit on how many offers each team sends out?Honestly surprised he didn't already have an offer. I kinda assumed that every school would automatically offer the #1 recruit in the country.

20/10How much does a number 1 in the class cost?
How much would that effect what we can do in the portal?
Not saying I wouldn't welcome him with open arms, but it does not follow the "get old, stay old" mantra.
Expectations and Goals seem to be a lot more aligned with winning and team first among old transfer than young kids.
Maybe that's just my Skyy Clark bias talking?
EDIT: Just watched some of his tape. Absolute stud, 10/10 would do anything to get him here.
Love that this dropped just mere hours into a Loyalty debate about whether top 3 rated players in their class can provide value to a program.
There will be a real run at this...
Absolutely trash take....This program needs to continue to shoot for the stars in recruiting, and balance with aged collegiate vets through the transfer portal. Brad seems to get it, and we are trending in the correct direction.Obviously as an Illinois fan, I'd welcome any 5-star players especially one ranked #1 by 247. But, I'd have to ask, if I take my bias away, why would a top 5 player who is almost definitely a one-and-done choose Illinois?
Our track record when it comes to putting guys in the nba isn't great anytime recently and the only guy we have in the nba ended up getting drafted well below practically all mock drafts. It's a broken record at this point but our NCAA Tournament success since 2005 is nonexistent.
Why would any player like this kid choose us over a Duke or Kentucky who consistently put kids like this in the lottery year after year and give them plenty of playing time? We have great NIL sure, but it definitely isn't close to the top teams in the country.
It sure changed the narrative of that debate pretty quickly, too.Love that this dropped just mere hours into a Loyalty debate about whether top 3 rated players in their class can provide value to a program.

I think it's de-pants yaname is too hard to pronounce, pass
I think any program in the top 20 approaches a kid like this and point to recent success and tell him he's walking into a starting spot, running a team who is losing 4-5 top players, playing in a top 2 conference. Most importantly, you're setting your own trail. the top player out of high school can go anywhere and scouts/ people will come watch. ICON says the rest!Obviously as an Illinois fan, I'd welcome any 5-star players especially one ranked #1 by 247. You really have to know the answers to the hard-hitting questions.Yeah, he's good and everything, but does he like COTTAGE CHEESE?
Obviously a top 3 rated player will add value to the program. I was merely stating that along with that comes a lot of expectations: money, prominent starting role, etc. How much more value does he provide when comparing him to Domask? There is a reason Brad likes to say, get old, stay old.Love that this dropped just mere hours into a Loyalty debate about whether top 3 rated players in their class can provide value to a program.
I think it's de-pants ya
Could be one to keep a tab on and come back to at a later dateHmmm

Name checks out...Is there a limit on how many offers each team sends out?
I have a couple friends that are big IU donors that have access to NIL information and I will say I know for a fact they have the best NIL in the Big10 by quite a bit and probably top 5 in all of CBB. Also heard Illinois is top 3 in the Big10 but not on the same tier as IndianaWhy do we assume Indiana’s NIL is any better than ours?
