People saying no to a player who started for a sweet 16 team, had a 2:1 Asisst:TO ratio, shot 38% from 3, is from Champaign, and we need a player at his position are insane.

Who do you think we’re gonna get… Tyger Campbell??
I suspect some people are not keen on Boswell because he kind of reminds me of Skyy Clark a little. Similar build, similar hype coming out of high school, doesn't seem to drive the ball as much as you would like to see for a PG. The offense just seemed to slow down when Skyy had the ball here.

But I would take him too for the reasons you laid out.

I'm a little skeptical. A skinny 6'4" with a mostly interior skillset. I see a poor man's Marcus Domask.

But on the flipside this was the highest scorer in the nation in Juco last year and scored the 14th most points in the country this year. A certified bucket getter no doubt, albeit not a terribly efficient or physically explosive one. He definitely has some Domask booty ball game to him.

What does a guy like this look like as a more complementary player? I assume he'd probably have to be? Not sure.

it's good to be king (or royalty, anyway). thank you, coach, for elevating us back where we belong

Things that jumped out to me from watching this

1. Plays at his own pace, looks under control
2. Has a feel for the game
3. Plays off 2 feet
4. Lefty

Hate to be so basic, but he just looks like a straight hooper.

I see him in a Harmon+ role, not an MD role

Not too impressed after watching some film, but not bad as like a seventh or eighth guy probably.
But what does that look like? I don't think this guy has ever not been the go-to volume scorer on a basketball team in his life.

So he has two years of eligibility left? That’s a big plus imo
I would think only one if I'm not mistaken? Two years of Juco, one year at BGSU, 1 year elsewhere?
Correct, just one. He was in high school during 2020-21 so he's a post-Covid guy with the normal 4 years. 2 in JUCO, 1 at BGSU, 1 remaining.

I'm not totally uninterested, but he'd be behind Dante Maddox, Sincere Parker and Xavier Amos on my list personally.
