When you start following the manager, you are a comin’
This is approaching George Foreman kid territory
there's another one??
John Mozeliak? Is that you? It’s alright to have a down year every once in a while
I decided to watch some video too, now that you brought it up. Very impressed; film against superior competition. Much more athletic than Domask, of course, but scores from all three levels, takes it strong to the rim, sweet up and under moves, shoots the three, explosive athlete who is a clever passer; knows the court and slams the lob. Hard to tell much about his D, since the film was always Louisville on offense. I can see why you're encouraged. I'll take him, and it will be hard to keep him out of starting lineup.I’ve been watching some Tre White video and I think he may end up being the sleeper of this portal class. He’s really talented and better defensively than he’s getting credit for. Get him here with our development and he may be this years Domask. I could be totally crazy and you can pull receipts on me if I’m wrong.
I’m just encouraged by his ability.
What's this in relation to? Anything short of specifics really means zilch here. Will never cease to be amazed by what a lot of Illinois fans will believe based on what coaches instruct their sycophants in the media to report.
No, but I think it's unique to this era of social media and blogger / fanboy reporting. It also represents a sea-change in the type of reporting that the schools and coaches expect and encourage.
Maintaining insider status is the primary motivation, and fans are often misinformed because of that.
Are you including message boards in your definition of media? Will never cease to be amazed by what a lot of Illinois fans will believe based on what coaches instruct their sycophants in the media to report.
I would argue it's always unreasonable to expect a national title. If we get Storrr, Booth and Boswell, I'll be very, very happy. And it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect a national title.
Good enough for meInternet.
I love Sencire's grit and effort, but I almost wish he does. I'd like him to sign with a mid-major where he'd get more PT. Moretti, DGL, Boswell can all shoot.Sorry to ask as I have not been able to keep up the past two days but has either Sincere or Amani officially entered the portal. Thanks
Sure it is. That's the fun.I would argue it's always unreasonable to expect a national title.
Courts told NcAA in univ Miami case they cannot forbid link between attending school and NILI’d love to know the exact chain of command between Underwood, the players, and the Collective.
Does Underwood instruct the Collective to only offer a specific amount to each recruit (amounts that change depending on the quality of recruit and total amount the Collective has to spend). I think the NCAA tries to directly prohibit those communications so how do any of these things get done?
Exception: UConn this yearI would argue it's always unreasonable to expect a national title.
The key word here is to hope for a national title. Only BBN expects a natty...every freakin' year.I would argue it's always unreasonable to expect a national title.
Exception: UConn this year
Short answer is no. Amani is expected and as of this moment that is all we know. Whenever someone transfers, it will be on the front page of Loyalty.Sorry to ask as I have not been able to keep up the past two days but has either Sincere or Amani officially entered the portal. Thanks
Myles Rice to Indiana….. you’ve gotta be sh**ing me. Now Indiana and Purdue have the best PGs in the conference. Great. Just great.
Purdue will be solid without Edey, not great. Indiana will bring in Ballo to go with Rice and be a tournament team but the lack of shooting will hurt them.Myles Rice to Indiana….. you’ve gotta be sh**ing me. Now Indiana and Purdue have the best PGs in the conference. Great. Just great.
wait until Booth goes somewhere else and we've tarnished are relationship with Amani and he leaves anyways... then we are left with our pants hanging around our ankles.

I think this is not likely, as I don't think university presidents won't stand for this. Then again with the tens of millions involved, maybe they will. I won't be following if we ever get to this . . .I wonder if we'll end up soon with collegiate rosters made up entirely of professional players with no academic requirements placed upon them. In other words, minor league teams housed on university campuses that will simply be part of the overall entertainment package available to university students and alumni.
One of the perks that could be offered is the opportunity, if desired, to audit a course or two in business management or psychology or kinesiology.
(This a joke post, sort of. Don't blow your top!)
