Yeah, I get it, I'm just not sure the x-factor is age in and of itself. I think it's more about retention. I think a returning sophomore may provide more of those intangibles and leadership than a brand new 5th year senior. Matthew Mayer, for example, just never really bought into the culture and so didn't provide that. This year's Indiana team transfered in a bunch of upperclassmen and it's an absolute mess. I think they key is some base level of retention, I'd say at least 5 guys, and then transfer in the most talented pieces around that, be they seniors, freshmen, or anything in between.
