He had one year at 41% at a lower level. We now have a year of evidence of what he does at this level. I will place more trust in what he showed in the B10, not at Evansville.
We've come full circle from people putting Humrichous in the NBA exactly one year ago in this very thread.

I remain consistent from that day to now: Ben can be a big weapon as a complimentary player, especially with the way BU wants to play. He's a knockdown shooter, over time that will be well established. I hope he stays if the price is right.

He said it wasn't about money. Others didn't.

Listen, our offense was all about not taking a lot if mid range 2s. Especailly low percentage ones and bottom line Rez likely didn't show it in practice and its selfish to want to take them if he didn't. Other guys like White and Will git those shows likely because they did it at a higher clip.
But we did hear that the 3 point shooters made their threes in practice.

a year go, Ben was not even a thought for this board yet. We were focused on winning an elite 8 game.. now we are talking about more transfers leaving.. There is obvious an issue inside this program because there aren't any other schools who have KEPT THEIR COACH and had this many transfers out.. I can't think of any? Brad is going starting to get in his own way...

There goes the core we desperately needed to hold on to.

But at least we still have Tyler and Hamer!!! That is more important than keeping any players (major sarcasm)

Brad is running this program into the ground in favor of…..I don’t even know. Stubbornness? Nepotism? What is it?
This train started to go downhill when he hired his unqualified kid. And it is picking up speed.

White's skillset and production can be replaced in the portal, but I hope it comes with the same eff you attitude and occasional over-confidence that Tre has. We're gonna need some guys who play like grown-a$$ men.

Ok this is becoming a joke. How long until college basketball becomes the NBA, and people stop watching? The NBA became a snoozefest, and we sadly aren't far behind. No one is acting quickly enough to establish some rules, parameters, contracts, etc. to stop this nonsense. If i was age 18-23, I would take the money also if someone threw a 7 figure amount at me. Anyone in their right mind would. The NCAA is and always has been a disgrace, and it continues to show. The leadership punts on hard issues, and looks the other way.
At least in the NBA players stay for a few years. Teams don’t start over every year.

Did hitting on Domask as a diamond in the rough go to Brad's head and now he's ride-or-die with Ben H?

Ben is fine as a shooter coming off the bench (that can be subbed out if he's missing), but he cannot be a focal point of the offense.

This ^ + Ben.

Get him outta here please…..

Edit: somehow didn’t get the post added that I was replying to, which was getting Hamer, Baby Brad and Jones out.

It's too bad Western Kentucky forward Jaylen Butz graduated. BU could have brought him in on the cheap, and if the Illini land Josh Dix, they could have had Dix and Butz on the team. Just a little humor to lessen the Morez Johnson pain.
