If the kid wants to transfer out, so be it, but have some respect for Illini Nation and your Illinois roots and go to a school outside the conference. Goes to show that ILL wasn't a dream school for him. It was just another school to him

To be fair, we are kind of trying to do the same thing with Dix. Although maybe he views it that Iowa turned on him first by firing his coach? Also I’ve seen no indication that Dix has been badmouthing Iowa on the way out or anything so I’m not saying it’s exactly the same.

Can't compare the Dix situation to Morez. Our coach is still here and had Fran not been fired, Underwood would not be recruiting Dix out of respect for Fran

Love it!! I think he deserves at least 6-8 three pointers a game. He’s earned it and is getting paid appropriately to showcase this ability.

Are we sure? We did try to get AJ Storr last year and I’m under the impression that Brad respects Greg Gard.

But again, I’m not saying the cases are exactly the same between Dix and Morez. I agree that the coach being fired makes a difference, as I noted in the first post too.

But there might be a teensy little similarity is all I’m saying.

(And of course I would have greatly preferred for Morez to go to a different conference.)
