Don't start waffling on us now, LvilleILL1!!! I've got you in the ELITE INSIDER pool over that cynic Indy!

They are going to add another guard along with hopefully Andrej, maybe two. I still think Tomi will average 18ish ppg next year, mentioned it last week but people are going to be shocked at how good the guy is going to be.
I thought he was the best player on the floor in every game I watched. He has a similar game to Vooch, I think he will get substantially better around the basket.

He was really, really good last year in his first ever year in the Big Ten. All the people writing him off as basically being the same player next season are (a) forgetting how good he actually was this season, and (b) ignoring that a guy like him should only continue to get better with experience.
And (c) underestimating how much the illness affected him

Aberdeen with a $2 million asking price with a career average of 5ppg and is a 40% shooting guard, but Morez asking for $2 million was considered extreme 3-4 weeks ago.
Morez was extreme because he had a signed deal and his family was telling anyone who asked that he was committed while obviously negotiating with other programs (and talking smack on their way out the door).

Will this be from more back down actions or mid range elbow line shots? or both?

He didn't shoot a lot of mid ranges last year (even though when he did shoot them they looked very pure)
He struggled in the back down game against the veteran bigs , so I am hoping this is where they are focusing his next development

Was one of if not the most important offensive player we had last year , we need the ball to touch his hands every possession that's not a runout

Back here in Montenegro, Tomislav was always seen as one with safer and higher floor but lower ceiling than his twin brother. Thing is Tomi has always been kinda "more serious" and acting more mature than his brother despite them being twins and Z being couple minutes "older" than him. Z was out there on switches and roaming on perimeter while Tomi was more of a inside big. Z even now looks just like a kid, 7'2'' but still a kid. Illinois was his really first time Tomi being used full time as a offensive hub and getting more shots from outside on that volume. They played together a lot and they can play together and off each other which i believe they will get opportunity to next season. Your new freshman Mirkovic also played with them but only for a year full time, not really long but thing is, they all know each other and i think chemistry between them wont be an issue.

I'm not really that much into NIL and numbers those guys are getting there in USA, but i heard some crazy numbers that even some top guys in Euroleague dont get for some of those portal guys including Andrej and some other guys. Few more guys from same team as them are looking at college opportunities so i was wondering how much time they still have to land on a program that could showcase them and their talent.

He also had very little time to work with the staff prior to the season and then lost a bunch of weight in-season. I think we will be pleasantly surprised with Mirkovich as well. I expect also Boswell to shoot better.
We should have a pretty balanced attack offensively.

UConn wants Andrej also, since Karaban is back and forth on staying or not. Late start in the recruitment so not sure how much ground they will make up.

what is the attraction? i see underwhelming statistics. low 3pt %, turnover/assists are ok. 13.4 pts per game
for a 4 and 14 WCC team.
Not sure, but he was a contributor at Texas Tech for two years, so there is plenty of tape of him against high major competition. He had his two best games last year against Washington State (40 points) and Gonzaga (22).
Defensive metrics are kind of murky in general, but they suggest he is a better defensive player than offensive player.

Bro......lol. This is getting laughable(not you). Every day, another new name and another caveat.

UConn is the new flavor of the day on the heels of us not wanting him to leave TODAY without a commitment.

Awesome.

I like Nick Dorn also! He's listed as a CG on some sites, but I agree that SG is/would be his best position. Would you have Dorn as the starting SG next season? And have Andrej Stojakovic as the starting SF? Would Andrej be okay with playing that position? (Personally, I think those two would fit/play well together.)

Most sites list Kennard Davis Jr as a Guard, although 24/7 lists him as a Forward in their transfer portal list. I'm guessing that being an athletic 6'6' 215-pound player, Davis (like Andrej) could play either SG or SF.
It doesn't really matter who you call the SF vs. the SG offensively, but I think you want Andrej guarding the SF for the other team defensively and in these hypotheticals, Dorn or Davis would guard the SG. Davis was apparently asking for a lot or money, so I see him as less likely unless that staff really wants him, but I think Davis would be a great fit as well

I'm looking forward to what he can do with some more strength. Seemed like some of the bulkier bigs could still push him around a bit, or knock him off his spot, and limit his offensive options down low. I trust 6 months of Fletching will help will put more arrows in his quiver.
