Saw her play at Mo. State her whole career. Pound for pound and inch for inch, she was the best female player I have ever seen. Hardest worker too. And I have actually driven past Claflin...the highway does not go through town.

He seems to be a really good passer. His head is always up and looking to pass ahead. Puts some real zip on his passes. Looks to be able to drive a bit and is acrobatic in the air. Funny hitch in his shot so not sure he’ll ever be a deadeye shooter. But if he sticks around, he could get some spot minutes eventually. He could be a Nico Moretti caliber player at some point.

Just because you can now offer 15 scholarships, it does not mean every player is on scholarship.

I've seen him play quite a bit the last couple years. He's quick, really smart and a great passer. Weakness are he's smaller and not an elite shooter. Benet teams always play great defense and he's been very well coached, but will need to add strength to defend at this level.

A good practice player for next year who can handle the ball and is the type of guy Brad and the staff will love having around.

Here he is beating Jaxson Davis to win the 4A state title on his future home court!

He looks strong and solidly built. Great handles, great passer and creative when attacking the rim. With point guards Petrovic and Boswell, I don't see much playing time for him. Not to mention our two other incoming freshmen, who are a lot taller and longer. I can't see why he picked the Illini, with plenty of other schools that are looking for a PG to play significant minutes.

Because he was committed to a D2 school. I think the massive jump in quality of life might be worth it even without getting playing time. Also for that level of player the connections and networking you get in those circles are probably more important long term.

That's the answer to this wild NIL era, let's have student athletes pay for their own education.

Yes because why would someone want to waste their money on education or housing?
