Think the size is a concern for Brad regarding Davis … Price tag is too high for an undersized guard … Don’t expect us to get Davis …
Little portal, Little retention, Little Europe, Sprinkle in 1 ELITE HS kid if it’s the right fit or right connection, and a couple developmental HS kids like Wagler, Lee, Brown, Davis, etc. … That’s Brad’s new philosophy …

It’s certainly gone from we can get anyone from them if we want them to we can try but we’re probably not getting any of them …
Especially if we continue to send Hamer to recruit Chicago …
Tim was by far last season's biggest loss. Thought/hoped Hamer was demoted in terms of the recruiting game.

without Petrovic on Campus you kind of need him on the court for 5 on 5. We only have six guys right now who play 1-3.

He’s a PWO … But they essentially got rid of the that but the expectation is that the kid doesn’t play until we’re up 30 and helps us with scout team …
He will be taking a visit here … Antigua has us in the mix … And we are very well connected with his HS and AAU program …
That recruitment has blown up … I’ve heard Michigan State, Illinois, Tennessee, Florida, Texas and St John’s are the main group right now …

Yes … There’s a lot to it but that’s the main piece …
All the in state talent is also leaving the state and once these kids go to prep school … Recruitments change …
Just one less thing to worry about

there was a KU podcast guy who did an extensive overview on Radunavic (about 2 months ago). Sounds like he's pretty good.

Transfer portal, $NIL has completely changed college recruiting
1. Unlimited transfers make for minimum 50% roster change every year
2. Older mid major players can contribute immediately more than HS seniors
3. Little incentive to develop HS seniors who will leave
4. Influx of intl players who can earn $NIL above what they were paid in Europe
I am skeptical that House settlement will be able to limit college spending for players. $NIL rules already showing leakage with Co-ops allowed to continue.
Top 10 really flexed their muscle with $NIL.
It will require collective bargaining agreement player union to cap spending and get multiyear contracts.
