Thanks coach. You gave us a heck of a year and its so nice to be part of a winning program! Couldn't have been prouder of the guys and we came close...but if you've shown anything...its that we are always right there and learn and grow from this experience. We will get there!

I guess the thing is the scenario you’re referring has basically 0% probability.

Agree, Purdue was preseason #1 with a lot less. Need two combo type guards that can hit 3's. Andrej needs to come back and with a 30+% 3 pointer
Kinda feel like Jake is that role too. Another year with fletch. Best shooter on the team and doesn’t make bad decisions.
Only not sure if he can guard 4s.
This team was fun to watch and has been a pleasure. I hate they came up just short off winning it all. I know they are hurting and that sucks. Use it as fuel moving forward. You have made this city, fan base, and university proud! Looking forward to next year and following these guys in their future endeavors. I-L-L
I would agree, but it depends on who that star point guard is. According to DB’s post earlier, sounds like we’re hunting even bigger than Jalen Cox from Colgate.

Coming off a final 4, that would get a lot of buzz nationally.
Why did this such a good 3 point shooting team become a brick factory since 2nd half of UCLA game and continued till yesterday?

There’s only so much scoring to go around. Personally, if it’s someone like Cox, I’m pleased.
No way Keaton is not going NBA even if we or some other school could pay him close to NBA money. Need to get through the 5 year rookie contract to get to that second NBA contract where even average players make $15M+ a year. He could be hitting that by 23-24 years old if he goes this year.

I’m guessing Boswells replacement will be taller and be able to make a shot. So that’s a huge plus

Bam, Ben and Wagler are a lot of minutes to replace
I think with a full offseason with fletch that Mirk could make a big jump. He’s already a stud but can improve physically.

yeah, a discernible cut (or two) above Cox is a pretty dang good player
We got to replace the first lottery pick since Deron. That’s a lot of production to account for upgrades.

Stoj was very impressive in the tournament. I’d imagine both sides are open to a reunion at this point, but the money has to make sense. Need a guard that’s a threat from deep but can also get inside the arc and cause defenses to break down from there.
Peja was a career 40% shooter from 3. I would hope that we would be able to get his son to shoot atleast 33% from 3 next year
