It's a highlight reel not a scouting report, but still some nifty passes in there as wellHis shot is BEAUTIFUL.

His shot is BEAUTIFUL.
The f**k?The fact is it would be easy to create a highlight film of Ben that would make you think Ben could not be replaced.
Can anyone verify that Ty has been able to develop on the sidelines the last 2 years via shotmaking, passing, handles, etc.?It's his best position (assuming he hasn't loss much athleticism from the injury). Labeling him as a guard is more aspirational than evidence-based.
In 2001 or 2002 they were #2.. disappointing season, HRF regressed, plus injury to Lucas Johnson hurt the team. Despite bringing everyone back except Marcus Griffin from elite 8, they were knocked out in S16.Highest ever was #5 in 2004.
It seems there is an insider or fake insider on the Louisville side that is the reason they are all acting giddy. Supposedly called the Shelstad/Flory thing and claimed they (Louisville staff) talked to Blackwell and he said if they got those two he’s in.
The problem is, it appears to be an unverifiable text going around that could literally just be made up, but, that’s one reason their fans are acting the way they are right now.
Well, if that's the case, then let's retain him, so he can be a great backup for Mirk. It's his best position (assuming he hasn't loss much athleticism from the injury). Labeling him as a guard is more aspirational than evidence-based.
Oooooof........that sounds like a big of a dig from EJ. I don't disagree with the athleticism concern. I think we've all been down that road mentally. We have no Chicago/Suburban kids on the roster. Not sure there have been many great ones? Got called out though.
Our inside guys are like no otherKinda funny because I put the Flory and Shelstad news on here Friday night …
Probably where they got it …![]()
Blackwell is the last piece to the puzzle. Surely he and his dad see that. The NC is beckoning.
Eddie is one of my all-time favorite Illini. That said, who in Chicago fits the bill? I would love to add some quickness because, as has been pointed out, quick guards have given us fits the last couple years.
It will be nice to have a more athletic guard that can dunk
That's freaking amazing. I'm not sure Mirkovic had one either.Keaton didn't have a dunk all year. Turned out fine.
Wagler didn’t eitherI’ll probably catch some flak for this but Vaaks doesn’t look like he can beat anyone off the dribble. Slow footed with finesse.
