akin to War & Peace, I'd go with he's got it going on:
It’s wild. So much of the predictions do not take into account injuries, illness, foul trouble, etc.I don't know if it will even happen, but how did we go from melting down over the need for another guard, and now we are questioning if we would take Boswell?
Just in time for LADHigher up the totem pole than that.

I was as hopeful as anyone that Brown could fill in minutes competently without having seen him play.Get a grip. All you negative Nellies on here need to go to the Kentucky board. All these Freshman are very talented that we have coming in.
I love this fanbase because folks will root for him for all but 2 of his games next year.Dra got a real nice bag in the deal - happy as hell for the kid. He gave it his all while here and I'll never forget that.
People misread stats. Petro averaged 5.9 minutes per game for 19 games for a total of 110 minutes. Over the 37 games the team played that's an average of 2.97 minutes. To add….. we have 87 mins a game that left that will be picked up by a combination of extra minutes for the “retention squad” and the 3 headed monster of Coleman, Morillo and Vaaks.
Our 9th man was Petro at 5.9 mins a game. Our 10th man, until he got hurt, was Jakstys at 5.2 mins a game.
Even with ALL the injuries last year, our 9th and 10th players in minutes had 11 between them. To get into the weeds of our 9th and 10th men is a fools errand in my book.
However, I have always low key been a fan of Jakstys. He is NEVER going to be an All Big 10 performer. But his per 40 numbers are 12 pts, 23 Rebs and 3 blocks.
Stop…… I am not saying just give him starter minutes and look what he will do. I get that he does this against other bench scrubs. However, what this does show is that as a Soph he was VERY active while in the game. Some of that will translate.
But……. If it doesn’t, and if Brown or Zens are not good enough to play….. they will be our 9th, 10th and 11th best players.
Wow, a poster that makes claims based on the real world and common sense. Also as someone else said, injuries happen and no program can “injury-proof” their roster through having guys who could start on another high major team and earn a million dollars in NIL come here to play 7 minutes and earn 150k (or whatever the 9th man makes).
Well said north Carolina last season was a perfect example any team that loses a starter or star from there rotation is going to hurt. Michigan lucked out last season with there depth there injuries nobody that far down the bench should be relied on to replace a starter and said team not lose something. I think Brad is doing it right with the youth as depth because what starter would want to go to any team to be the 8th or 9th guy and any transfer thats willing come here to be a 8th or 9th guy looking at 10 minutes a game. I think the freshman would and could have more potential then potential transfers for those spots.Brad has shown he can scout and identify talent in the lower ranked players trust in daddy Brad my friendsStooooppp.....give it a rest.
You couldn't sit, without a roster in front of you, and tell me who the 8th and 9th man are on ANY roster in the country.
In the national championship game, Michigan's # 8 was Will Tschetter and nobody else played. UCONN'S 8th and 9th men just transferred. Arizona's #9 played exactly 1 minute in the Final Four.
If ANY team loses a starter and has to dig down to #9..... it'll be an issue. I don't care what program you want to talk about.
uuuuuuh. yes? we do want the guy who came back to CU from a FF level school, who is a good defender, versatile, and sacrificed playing time and usage to make room for others on his team (including an unexpectedly transcendent freshman talent) to succeed and thrive. final answer.
BUT BUT WHO WILL BE THE ALPHA??? WHO IS GOING TO INITIATE OFFENSE???
Everyone and no one all at the same timeBUT BUT WHO WILL BE THE ALPHA??? WHO IS GOING TO INITIATE OFFENSE???
We absolutely want Kylan back. He was playing great until he broke his hand. Furthermore, having a 5th year winner showing the young stable of talent work ethic, team ethos, and dedication to winning is a huge plus.

He's awesome! Definitely my favorite player coming back. I'm hoping he can take a step up next year.
I don't think anybody questioned who is the alpha. There's numerous alpha level guys on this team, most notably Mirk and Andrej.BUT BUT WHO WILL BE THE ALPHA??? WHO IS GOING TO INITIATE OFFENSE???
