Coleman being the the first 4 star just outside of the 5 stars on new ESPN rankings is the most Illinois thing ever.
I'm with you on this, however, there is also a thought that says he performs extremely well in front of someone that believes they can fix the 3 point shot with no problem and he goes higher than originally expected. Which I would love him back, but also couldn't blame the kid what so ever.
My best guess for next years rotation (will change majorly after intel from summer workouts):

Any talk of a Nasir Anderson reclass? With the 27 draft looking weak and his athleticism and skill being off the charts…I don’t see why he wouldn’t make a couple mill next year and forego his senior season. Could very well be a lotto pick even with the early entry.
Very good shooter, fluid mover, and is a good athlete.
It will depend on how he deals with physicality.
The physicality aspect is a challenge for most freshmen. That’s why Fletch is such a HUGE asset for this program. He does a great job of getting guys on individualized programs that suit that player and give them a better chance for success earlier on.

So I was wondering about where our departing folks are winding up and found this. What is going on that with nearly all B1G teams the outgoing players are slow to find their homes? Is it financial in that those stepping down a notch are having issues matching their current NIL? Seems to me that some of these guys should be good pick ups to teams outside the top 25, but there is definitely a trend (Ohio State & maybe Wisconsin being the exceptions)!

Forgive me if it’s already been asked or discussed, but is there interest on both parties for him to come back? Do we have a roster spot from him if he were to come back? I love the guy and his leadership/hustle.
Also, a guy at work went to school with him so despite being an MSU fan, he’s grown a soft spot for Illinois because of Ty. I’d also really like to not lose him to MSU if possible…
When he committed my response was "I like guys who make 3s and try to put you in the rim."
He can shoot and is athletic. Strength/size is easy to add with a guy like Fletch.

Every player we are going to put on the floor next season can really shoot. I expect Andrej’s percentage to increase as well. That really spreads the floor and puts defenses in a serious bind.
High quality shooters are pretty damn important in basketball, and we have a bunch of them.
