Wrong. Rj is much better at shooting gaps and setting up the press.Nope. Goode is every bit as capable in the press.
I was surprised that RJ was in the game for the last shot after sitting most of the 2nd half. No way he makes that shot.Just brutal. Brutal. At the end of the day gotta make your open threes. Sadly we missed ours down the stretch. This loss hurts. The effort we played with was deserving of the win. Really tough loss. I thought that one was going down for RJ. I really did. Ugh...
I hope that’s the case but I imagine losing playing time, getting benched and whatever is going on with his shooting is going to cause him to leaveI'd much rather see him turn it around and be great for us.
Even if they both had a year left, we are now in an environment where transfers/NIL change the landscape of rosters each year. The days of most guys being at one school the whole time is an anomaly. What annoys me the most about this team is you can see what they can be, there is a lot of youth on this team. The problem is the top 2 guys will be gone. Wish we had 1 more year of development for the young guys with Mayer and Shannon.
At least he didn't airball it this timeMan, if RJ just could have made that last shot, I think it would have really helped for him.
I think you just described basketball. Wanna point out all the good things that made it so close? So many wasted possessions.
-Harris trying to be a scorer
-Ty has to lose the over the head reverse lay up.
-Melendez no confidence at all
-Epps driving with no outlet available. Against major shot blockers.
-Dainja turnovers down low
-Hawkins not looking to score down low.
He’s probably notNope. Goode is every bit as capable in the press.

I agree with you. But there are a number of games we ‘should’ have won that we did not this year.Man that sucks. We had that game in hand. We are so due for one of these big wins. Great fight from the boys, almost had it. We should win our next four and go into the btt at 21-10
Mayer was inWhy was our best 3pt shooter not in the game at the end?
I would feel better if we they had a 10 pt lead at the first tv timeout and we never got closer than that. Then the not having our best player excuse feels ok.We lost on the road to a top 15 team without our best player. It's tough considering how long we led but nothing to hang out heads about.
Looking at the box score, it's surprising we were in control most of the way. Indiana outshot us 44 to 39 percent, and 45 to 30 on threes. They out-rebounded and out-assisted us too. The only thing we did better was a few less turnovers and a few more free throws. We simply couldn't make a shot when we needed one.Shooting lost us another game.
The team that just (should’ve) beaten a top 15 team on the road without TSJ will for sure lose to a team that’s 3-12 in the B1G. Yeah no for sureThis team will lose at tOSU.
Watching IU’s high low and Hood-Schifino’s midrange game was frustratingSo many points off of busted plays for IU in the second half. We got broken down too many times and caught scrambling.
Bummed about this but mostly I just feel sorry for RJ. So tough to watch him right now.
