Coleman needs better effort and to move his feet on defense better. RJ Melendez needs to play that way all game. And where was the rebounding?

Really really concerned about how we match up with Dickinson & Edey… We were so spoiled with Kofi
I don't think either of them are as athletic as TJD. Dickinson is really stiff... Not as worried about him. Edey is obviously a load, but at some point they're going to start calling fouls on him... Pretty unbelievable he has more blocks than fouls this year.

Really, not much of anything went right for us today. It was a lot of our own making, but sometimes you just don't have it and we certainly didn't today in all facets. I'll still say that I thought the effort level was much much higher today than in in our previous losses. Just our gameplan and lack of ability to make open shots, layups, or free throws was an awful combination. I don't like losing, especially to the Hoosiers, but I think this is one you just look past and move on. Some days you simply wake up on the wrong side of the bed and not much goes well the rest of the night.

Props to RJ and Sincere by the way. It's tough to play well when your whole team is struggling but I think both of them did. TSJ played well though not really in the rhythm of the offense, though in his defense, there wasn't much of any rhythm to begin with.
Agree on RJ, TSJ and maybe even SH. But we can't just "move on" from this one because we still need to play them on their turf. Learn, adapt, improve, win.

Coach Underwood just made a few comments on the raido: 19 straight days with not 1 off day and Mayer sick. Well Coach that's your job not to run them 19 straight days and the training staffs job to treat their bodies. Watching film and walk through and treatment are very important.

Praying for you and your family. This board and community is bigger than sports. It’s family. ❤️

Dain got his first college punch from an All-American. We missed a lot of free throws, lots of 50/50 balls just didn’t go our way. We went down big and although the intensity was high and the boys fought, just not many good offensive possessions. Guys started looking for their own shot again, Epps with a tough game, Trayce blocked and disrupted many shots. Some nights you just get beat. That’s what happened tonight. Still high expectations on the season, don’t worry.
Name checks out

Watching the highlights of our recent wins I was surprised at how easy we were able to initiate the offense with minimal pressure. To me when this team is pressured like they were tonight they just cannot run good offense. We also let lack offense influence our effort defensively which is disheartening (for them and me). Oh well, on to the next one, just wasn't our night.

I think the most disappointing thing for me is how we have looked in our losses. It was so nice to see how we played against Wiscy, Minn, Neb, and MSU. Albeit, not the best teams in conference, obviously, but we passed the eye test. Tonight, we were back to the Mizzou, Penn St, NW schtick of just bad play most of the night. It is so easy to see how this team feels mentally by their play on the court. REALLY easy for our opponents. When things go bad, we just stop moving, stop passing, and stop playing D instead of digging deep and grabbing momentum. Oh well, it's just basketball I guess....
