I have not liked the way the board has changed with all off the GIFs lately but thought it was just me getting older . The sarcasm has definitely rose to its highest levels, but I always could count on you to keep me coming back for information . You will be missed

This is not directed to you. Just a comment on the situation.
I don’t think anyone would be shocked if kofi lands in Lexington and I doubt 0440 would be either. I don’t recall him saying it was a lock, just that we had a good shot and OA (at least publicly) advised him to stay here. No insider knows what Kofi’s decision will be because he doesn’t even know himself. Why that is considered bad information baffles me.

I may be off base, but I think the original comment was a joke that 0440 got a better offer from Kentucky, not Kofi getting a better offer.

Exactly... Can we ever forget Tyler Griffy.?His four years in Champaign and his buzzer beating layup to beat then number 1 Indiana at Champaign? Tyler will always be welcomed on UICU campus.

I’m with you. And OA well could have told/advised Kofi to stay put. That isn’t the same as saying UK won’t take him if it has room. That would have to come from Cal, and if Kofi still said I’m interested would Cal, with what we know of him, say no. Never quite understood the whole trying to “prove” someone ain’t an “insider.” People hear things themselves or get information relayed to them, and they mention it here. Things change (especially in recruiting) and what was once “the truth” isn’t as true as it was. Big deal. I’m guessing if you got information straight from 10 recruits about where they are going, depending on where they were at in the process that ultimate insider info would be right 20% to 75%.
