You don't need to talk in riddles or beat around the bush.
Just tell us the exact dollar amount you believe Leron Black will earn if he leaves to play professional basketball in the 2018-19 season.
A simple $ number will do.
Just tell me the exact numbers of powerball for tonight... a simple list of 5 number and powerball will do.
The salaries can vary widely depending on status. Only he top players in Euroleague can make millions per year, but all Euroleague players make good money. Black will not get a look from Euroleague teams. Zero chance.
The level below (high level Eurocup teams) includes some teams in top leagues (e.g., Russia, Spain) that may even pay $100K or more for top players. Unics Kazan is one such team, but there are very few. Domestic players (or players with EU passports) have an advantage since some domestic leagues have quotas on number of foreign players. Black will not be a candidate for this level either, players with NBA experience or significant international experience will be way above him.
Now below that, G-League has a very low average (about $22K-23K now IIRC, used to be even lower). Some team in better leagues (e.g., Russia, Spain) may make up to 2x-4x that but for players with experience, 2nd round picks, etc. Black is not a candidate for the high end now, but could be in another year.
Personally, I do not think Black has a legit chance for the NBA straight out of college even if he stays one more year. So he is realistically looking at the prospect of either improving his status and reaching a better deal in a better league next year, or starting very low this year and working his way up. IMO his best option is improving his status to a better starting point next year, but eventually he has to make his own decision.
