I'm thinking about our RB stable for next season. Who do we expect to see the bulk of the carries?

Josh McCray
Aidan Laughery
Chase Hayden (leaving?)
Reggie Love
Nick Fedanzo
Jordan Anderson
Kaden Feagin

I'm guessing the most carries will go to (in order):
Love
McCray
Feagin

I hope that is not the order of carries. Love improved but I don't see him as a #1 back

I want to see McCray get the most, but I'm thinking he may not be healthy enough to carry that load.
Unless he gets hurt in the Bowl game, not sure how this translates to next season.

My hot take is I am not sold on McCray or Love being the #1 guy. Platoon of backs is not a bad thing if you play to their strengths.

I am probably the #1 Aidan Laughery fan on this board also

I would love to see him get a legitimate chance to win the job next year

Personally, I'm enrolled in tbr Jordan Anderson school of just be as big or bigger than anyone trying to tackle you.

It’s going to be a huge offseason for these guys. Who will make the leap and can they stay healthy?

When I looked at some of his tape, I immediately understood why B.B. was so excited to get Feagin and why so many schools were in play for him. I believe he will contribute next year. If he stays healthy, the sky is the limit.
The only thing (other than health) that mildly concerns me about Feagin is the leap of competition.

Also for who had dabbled in small school football news in the past (less so now) it is bit shocking (but mildly pleasantly so) that Feagin done his thing at ALAH, not one the powers of that region of the state.

I like the chatter about some of the young guys on this team. We had some quality recruits come in last season and have some quality playing time. Some of the guys just needed to get acclimated to college life, beef up a bit, etc. I look for more contributions out of the 2022 and 2023 classes next season.

Talking about some of the bigger backs in Jordan Anderson and Kaden Feagin. Anderson likely be used more as a H back. Great size at 6-4 and 240lbs but his top end speed is not that of Feagin or other backs on the team. Feagin at 6-3 and 220lbs has a higher speed for a guy his size.

Is there any chance Feagin plays defense in college? I mean this as a compliment as looks like he could be a LB/Hybrid player as well.

I mean.... he lives in the Arthur school district..his brothers played at Arthur...not too surprising to me.

Anyone know of Feagin speed? Is he fast? He's huge, for sure.

He had 2 older brothers that were decent high school athletes, but that is all. His dad played RB at the beloved..so he has the genes, for sure.

How good is our football strength and conditioning coach? I know basketball we have one of the best

Football seems challenging based on the variety of positions and strength needed. The weight room in the off season will be big for players to set up next year

The turn around has just as much to do with Tank as it does neither Bret and the other coaches.

Im confused a little with the names of the newly signed players who are starting school in January

is there a list ?

Flipping Tobe AND him being an early enrollees is great.

Also great to get QB's enrolled early.

ok, thats WAY more than we normally get out of high school to start early

what has changed in the last 4-5 years that allows this many to graduate high school in 3.5 years?
are getting 1/2 your signees to enroll in January more common now ?

Kids can earn college credits in HS that can speed the HS graduation process along. My daughter graduated HS in 2020, AA in 2021, will earn her BS in the spring 2023, and will start Grad school in the fall of 2023. She would have finished the AA after the fall of 2021, if the virus didn't switch the JUCO volleyball season from a fall sport to a spring sport 2020-2021.

Wish it would have worked that way in my day...

This, also early graduation is possible if students take extra credits to get ahead in summer school. I had a handful of students graduate last week because they did just that.

I imagine that would be the most common route to pursue once you see a student starts getting DI interest.
