Agreed. Better S&C probably prevents RJs appendicitis and the pink eye debacle.... outside of guys getting hit in the head the last few years I think we've been pretty injury free and I'm not sure how we prevent those injuries. We sure have a lot of injuries for having the finest S&C Coach and recovery room in the country.
I'm not saying our facilities aren't top notch but I've never heard another P5 coach, AD or recruit coming out of an official saying they had the second best only to UIUC.
What a dumb, uneducated opinion this is. It's sports, $hit happensWe sure have a lot of injuries for having the finest S&C Coach and recovery room in the country.

Certainly does. Nobody that has played a sport at a high level with any effort at all has faced some sort of injury! Same with the police and military. I never planned on getting hurt, nobody does, but it's part of the gig! What a dumb, uneducated opinion this is. It's sports, $hit happens
I sprained my ankle in March and it took until at least July for me to say I was 99% back to normal. He's also like 19, which helps lol
S&C doesn't do anything for broken bones or concussions. Come on, man. S&C can reduce injuries to muscles and ligaments, though, and we haven't seemed to have many of those in recent years. We sure have a lot of injuries for having the finest S&C Coach and recovery room in the country.

You get their scalp muscles more exercise so they pad the skull more, of course.Agreed. This is giving me PTSD to the ankle sprain I had for entirety of Fall 2021, soon followed up by random inflammation of bilateral knees, Winter of 2021-2022.I sprained my ankle in March and it took until at least July for me to say I was 99% back to normal.
After 30, all injuries are permanent.
I'm truly shocked to hear something dumb on this site.Certainly does. Nobody that has played a sport at a high level with any effort at all has faced some sort of injury! Same with the police and military. I never planned on getting hurt, nobody does, but it's part of the gig!

This while I have a pinched nerve in my neck that makes my left hand tingle periodically. I'm usually the youngest person by far when I've gone for cortisone shots to help it.This is giving me PTSD to the ankle sprain I had for entirety of Fall 2021, soon followed up by random inflammation of bilateral knees, Winter of 2021-2022.
Chiropractor helped me on something similar. This while I have a pinched nerve in my neck that makes my left hand tingle periodically. I'm usually the youngest person by far when I've gone for cortisone shots to help it.

Yeah, but ours actually IS the top. That's the key difference you're missing.View attachment 20882
Mea culpa. I knew I was going to be been stuck on an all day zoom and was about 90% just looking for reactions to liven things up.
Yes I realize that most injuries in sports (and old age) are unavoidable but I do think that most P5 programs think their own S&C programs are at the top. I’m not sure how you could quantify results but I would think that it’s more than just taking their word for it.
He probably is, but who knows. All I care is that recruits love his plans/programs and he's a noticeable draw for the program. He's featured on visits, not just someone who's there. That's more than enough for me to appreciate.Yeah, but ours actually IS the top. That's the key difference you're missing.
