He did but looked like he was limping pretty badly and trying to play through it. Hurt the depth even more.
The two quick ones on MM in the first half sucked... That and Sencire being banged up didn't help keep the defense fresh at all.
Tough loss, but we put up a good fight, especially considering the lack of contributions from Mayer and Epps, and Harris apparently still being injured. Our depth advantage was nullified and the home team won. We are the better team, but this was B1G basketball on the road.

Heck of a game. I'm completely pleased the chances that the Illini had down the stretch to take the lead.
Not thrilled with Shannon (i think) going under that screen when they were down by 1 with 2 seconds on the shot clock. You don't give up a 3 there. You have to leave yourself with a chance to tie at least.

Loved our fight, hate playing on the road on the B1G, and am so annoyed we don’t get a second chance against those clowns. Absolute trash all around in College Park.
We're still good. It was in the worst environment possible against a good team. I do like that Hawkins is looking more like an NBA player each game.
