This is my guess:
70. Harold Faltermeyer, "Axel F"

You seem like person who loves you some synth.

:ROFLMAO:

I don't even know what that means about me!

But no.......there are no explosions, nor a grand entrance to Axel F. Just a really good comedy movie!

This is the better LP version...rather than the "video" version....but that is a hilarious 80's video intro so please indulge!

In this version....it's the first 1:30...I will post an actual :00 choreography from my head once organized by the second!

You have officially melted my brain. I can say with absolute certainty I have never heard this song before. Please feel free to go into detail to melt my brain even further.

It's obscure enough that virtually no one else is using it...and if choreographed properly (ie: what's in my head)...it would be a legit emotion inducing, entertaining intro. Albeit, a little limited for day time.....epic night game intro.

Edit: also checks a funny box of resurgent Illinois Football a "fantasy" of ours for some time now?

daytime version, use reenactors, circa 1924. Red Grange steps out of the helicopter just in time to destroy the wolverines.... or something like that

Would he be up for skydiving into the stadium?
(Am I remembering the correct video?)

Edit: I don't think I was recalling the correct video. This one has him calmly walking out of a helicopter at the beginning. I was thinking of someone skydiving at the end.

I think (not certain) that holographic displays can still work during day...so just the drone lights and lasers would be limited. Lot's of smoke and pyrotechnics would make up for some of that.

The sound projection would be the most important. The fans/team "feeling" the music like a concert would be paramount for invoking an emotional entrance by the team.

Implementing this is over my head....but the artistic part I think I've got something at least fun to imagine. Maybe I'll run into JDubs at O'Hare and corner him!

The lady who “gets us ready for some I-L-L” at the beginning of the game has got to go. Awkward, robot/A.I. voice and cadence isn’t hyping anything up. I plug my ears. With this new era of hope and success Its time for our production team to start figuring some things out and creating some serious momentum from the crowd at kick off. Create a moment that becomes tradition that has every illini fan in their seat before the game. The orange smoke is an awesome addition.
My wife and I comment on this after every game in the surveys. It's SUUUUUPER awkward.

Who's seen the Campus Landscape Master Plan 2022? https://fs.illinois.edu/docs/defaul...s_landscape_master_plan.pdf?sfvrsn=ca47deea_2

It has some really interesting stuff regarding the spaces around Memorial Stadium/Assembly Hall and the athletic campus in general. Not sure what kind of timeline would be implemented but it would be an improvement in a lot of areas (especially making us look like more of a first-class operation).
Man, based on my age (68), if I would take the time to go through all slides, I would be dead before I hit the end.

If you look closely around Memorial Stadium, right where they intend to have a grand crosswalk and entry plaza on Kirby, there is a "future building" overlay right where the horseshoe is... Just saying....

For the life of me, I can't figure out what the future building is at the northwest corner of the stadium.
