Such a winnable game (Quad 1 at that) and we just found a way to lose it. Questionable calls (on both sides) but not the reason we lost.

We lost because of bad decisions by the players and bad game management by Brad. Can’t keep the same guys out there when they aren’t getting it done and expect to somehow win.

Use your bench! Change the scheme! Call a timeout!

Coach. The. Team.

Sorry folks, I know East Lansing is a tough place to win but we gave this one away! Poor shooting along with some unforced turnovers down the stretch, this was a well deserved loss!

I simply don't understand having Luke on the floor instead of Ty with the game in the balance. Ty is just as good a free-throw shooter, which is insane, but true. Ty's way better defensively, way better at rebounding, and a better offensive option in general. The only thing Luke does is shoot threes and get absolutely cooked on defense. I like Luke, but Ty is inarguably one of our best players and needs to be on that court.
Agree. I was screaming at the TV for underwood to put Ty back in. Goode was getting destroyed

Illinois is the better and more talented basketball team but they've continually lacked the ability to put teams away and it cost them here. MSU clawed their way back in and outplayed them

Just too many wasted possessions on offense. I'm fine with shooting 3s in rhythm but don't have to take the first look you get and at least try to work for a better shot.

Defensively they're getting absolutely gashed on dribble penetration. They need to make some adjustments here.

Sidenote: the refs were terrible benefitting both sides. Just some phantom calls that made no sense.

Valentines appropriate that we can probably kiss the B1G title goodbye.

It was probably over already but this was the nail in the coffin

Domask makes too many turnovers that result in easy fats break points gor the other team. I've noticed it the past several games were he's just too loose goosey with his handle or a contested pass.

Besides that, we started to play not to lose too soon and our defense has been slipping since the turn of the new year. We give up way too many points in the paint.

Trying to get another big ten team in the tourney. With our coaching, the great refs, Rodgers on the bench? Not very hard to see what is happening here!!

Tys a better ft shooter on a lot more volume. Goode just continually getting exposed on d. Missed the front end of a 1 and 1 and missed a wide open three off a great pass from cohawk that would have stretched the lead to 10 points. Not his best game…

Terrible collapse. Started with Goode missing another wide open three that would have put us up by 8 in the later stage of second half. Our lack of a PG reared it's ugly head today for sure. I wish BU would call time out's to disrupt other teams momentum much faster than he historically does- so many teams under his tenure go on these ridiculous runs without us calling any Time outs.
QG hasn't really done anything to help the team for a while now. If he's hurt, than don't play him until he's better- his defense is not very good.
Why does Domask keep crossing over his dribble in front of a close defender?
I hate to say it but losses like this don't match up with a final 4 capable team.

Not gonna overreact to the L, but yeah, we have GOT to clean up the interior defense…Luke is being hunted out there and got abused by Hall. We can’t exhibit such a complete lack of poise down the stretch like that. As others have pointed out that’s exactly how you get bounced in the tourney. Really hope the staff learns from this one. Go beat Juwan again on Tuesday.
