Tom Boerwinkle was the best out of all of them and that’s not saying much
Considering how badly Utah wants AJ with the whole Jazz ownership-BYU connection, Wizards are in position to just give one big middle finger to the Jazz and take AJ. Lol.
I really don’t think Wagler gets passed 5.
Between Wagler / Acuff …. you need the on/off ball versatility to pair with Darius Garland. Keaton fits that mold a lot more than Acuff. Plus, they still have Kawhi.
I think Acuff is perfect for the Nets, who are dying for an alpha offensively.

And if it's Boozer at 4, any chance they choose Keaton, or did that possibility leave with AK? If that was ever a possibility.
Why do you think he can’t play now? The NBA is based off of size / ball skills / shooting ability. He absolutely checks those boxes.

Previous administrations I would be scared would throw this pick away on Petterson would then up as a classic Wizards blowing it move. I have a lot more trust in the current front office.
Bulls announcers called him the “passing big man in the NBA” - which didn’t mean much in those days.

I really like the versatility, athleticism, and talent that you guys have. Your squad will be.a real factor in the East provided they don't import any knuckleheads to ruin the chemistry like past iterations have done.
IMO, the later the season went on, teams got more and more physical with him and he struggled on the defensive end. He also struggled to finish through contact. Those are things that are easily rectified......with time and physical maturity.
Size, ball skills, shooting......all A+, thus the lottery pick.
The physicality is what keeps him off the floor in an NBA arena for the the majority of the year(depending on how bad the team is).

I fully understand that the Wizards will pick who they feel is best suited for their team. However, I think it would be a tough deal for Riley if they pick Dybantsa. They seem to play similar positions, and if the Wizards pick AJ it won’t be for him to come off the bench.
I get it’s the NBA and you always have to compete for your job, but it feels like Riley would be getting set aside in that case.

I think the mocks are gonna have them grabbing Caleb just I think there's a chance he doesn't make it to them. He's gonna absolutely dazzle and wow in individual workouts. Best 2-way player in this draft IMO

bulls jumped to 4 but they are trying to grab wilson. im fine bc of kg comps but picking boozer would be a disaster.
trade down at 5 and get wagler for the sake of god.
missed way too many illini players like jaku, will riley and got rid of ayo who is a star. ideally i would want to get rid of giddey, 15, and last yrs 12 for wagler but hes risen way too high hes not going to survive past 6.
either way getting both wilson and wagler would be a homerun draft and perennial contenders. they need to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

close to 0 bc top 4 is consensus. i do think wagler will be top 3 player in the draft but gms dont like to make risky moves. he will gone by 6. 5 most likely.
