He was trying to put everyone on a poster. Missed a few monster jams due to what looked like the ball just slipping out of his hand.
Mixed bag from Andrej Stojakovic today.
Vertical was great. 1st in running vert and 8th in stand still. Overall mediocre agility and speed drills. Not great with full court sprint, was one of the worst times.
Really struggled in the shooting drills, was almost dead last in three point shooting and was bottom half of others. (For reference, twenty five guys did a three point shooting drill, and he finished twenty third. Will be something he works on in the offseason to gear up for his senior year at Illinois).
Overall, not sure he helped himself much today. The experience will be big for this offseason.

Those measurables will get scouts talking. I think there's a chance he stays if he shows ANYTHING shooting the ball. Wondering why he's not participating in the 5 v 5?
I could definitely see Wagler falling a bit. I don’t follow NBA enough to know about the needs of the teams picking between 5 and 10, so no idea how far. One thing on his side is that it looks like most of the other players in that range are guards.
They’ll be big, but as big as Michigan last year really? Who’d they add?
I'm not sure Illinois fans have ever been more spoiled by one player as it pretains to the term "athlete" than Terrance Shannon Jr.
Andrej could get to the rim and finish at will. He was never "mediocre athlete."

This to me is one of the games within the game of this draft.
Let's say the Pacers remain relatively average (obviously they'll have a very good team this year; definitely not suggesting they'll miss the playoffs) and the No. 5 pick turns into one of the top players in the league .... it'll be looked at as one of the all time worst trades for IND and a franchise savior for LAC.

I think Arizona is in that discussion as well if they get Koa Peat back. They'll have Ivan K / Peat / Krivas.

Sounds like this has the potential to help him immensely if he takes the learnings and uses it to grow and develop to improve the weaker parts of his game. It didn’t do squat if he doesn’t change anything.
These are past 20 #5 draft picks. Question is which ones would you rather have than Zubac (and the extra pick, Mathurin, obviously). Right now, only Garland, Fox, Love, Cousins (noting the 2023-2025 are too soon to tell). This draft was 4 person deep at the top, so while the 5th pick is still a good pick, the Pacers took the risk to get a VERY good center.

There is a reason all of these teams are in this position of the lottery lol Clippers may not have much team success but players have done well there. Nets are a rollercoaster, not great lately though. SAC is literally the worst franchise there is. I’ll take anyone other than SAC for Wagler
He is very athletic and I agree, people didn't give credit where it's due.
That said, him getting to the rim(in the lane), more often than not, ended up in a wild !!!! or a turnover. He has the terrible habit of getting into the lane, head down and up in the air with nowhere to go. Along with shooting, that's an area he needs to improve on. That's an awareness issue.
That said, when he had a dribble drive to the rim and was able to create space at an angle, he could finish nicely with a little kiss of the backboard from 5 or 6 feet. He formed a nice turnaround baseline J as well. There was growth there.
However, getting to the rim on a straight line drive, where he could display strength and finishing capabilities....that will be the 2nd biggest skill that he needs to really show off. We all know know what the first skill is.

I do agree with this, but I think Acuff is going to be star in the league.
Those are all pretty impressive. Being in the top half of quite a few drills, then showing off elite athleticism....that's a guy that a team could take a shot on.
Not sure what the perimeter shooting looked like? Was that not recorded yet?

Man, that run of guys after Valanciunas and before Fox is all-time-level bad. Hezonja and Robinson alone have to be on the top 5-10 list for worst #5 picks of all time.
I think he is Trea Young 2.0. An absolute dynamo on offense, and a dis-interested and small defensive player. He will sell a lot of jersey's but he won't be a factor in May very often.
