He was trying to put everyone on a poster. Missed a few monster jams due to what looked like the ball just slipping out of his hand.Uhhh… have you not seen his dunk package this past year? lol
Those measurables will get scouts talking. I think there's a chance he stays if he shows ANYTHING shooting the ball. Wondering why he's not participating in the 5 v 5?Yeah, uh, I’d prefer Andrej perform well but not too well…
They’ll be big, but as big as Michigan last year really? Who’d they add?Florida.
I'm not sure Illinois fans have ever been more spoiled by one player as it pretains to the term "athlete" than Terrance Shannon Jr.thats kinda shocking. I pegged him as a mediocre athlete, which is why he has to rely on so many off balance shots. Which thankfully he is really good at. If he's got that type of vertical at his height, jump over people Drej.
This to me is one of the games within the game of this draft. The Pacers trading for Zubac and a 48% chance of losing a top 5 pick is one of the all time bad trades.
You cant risk losing even #5 in this deep of draft for a player the level of Zubac. Just horrible
Condon / Haugh / Chinyelu not big? They’ll be big, but as big as Michigan last year really? Who’d they add?
It’s big, but not as big as Michigan wasCondon / Haugh / Chinyelu not big?
I think Arizona is in that discussion as well if they get Koa Peat back. They'll have Ivan K / Peat / Krivas.
Mixed bag from Andrej Stojakovic today.
Vertical was great. 1st in running vert and 8th in stand still. Overall mediocre agility and speed drills. Not great with full court sprint, was one of the worst times.
Really struggled in the shooting drills, was almost dead last in three point shooting and was bottom half of others. (For reference, twenty five guys did a three point shooting drill, and he finished twenty third. Will be something he works on in the offseason to gear up for his senior year at Illinois).
Overall, not sure he helped himself much today. The experience will be big for this offseason.
If we played them, would it be sort of like a Euro League playoff game?Condon / Haugh / Chinyelu not big?

Sounds like this has the potential to help him immensely if he takes the learnings and uses it to grow and develop to improve the weaker parts of his game. It didn’t do squat if he doesn’t change anything.Mixed bag from Andrej Stojakovic today.

Let's say the Pacers remain relatively average (obviously they'll have a very good team this year; definitely not suggesting they'll miss the playoffs) and the No. 5 pick turns into one of the top players in the league .... it'll be looked at as one of the all time worst trades for IND and a franchise savior for LAC.
Clippers and Nets are where NBA dreams go to die
There is a reason all of these teams are in this position of the lottery lol Clippers may not have much team success but players have done well there. Nets are a rollercoaster, not great lately though. SAC is literally the worst franchise there is. I’ll take anyone other than SAC for WaglerSacramento really any better?
He is very athletic and I agree, people didn't give credit where it's due.I'm not sure Illinois fans have ever been more spoiled by one player as it pretains to the term "athlete" than Terrance Shannon Jr.
Andrej could get to the rim and finish at will. He was never "mediocre athlete."
Trae Young? These are past 20 #5 draft picks. Question is which ones would you rather have than Zubac (and the extra pick, Mathurin, obviously). Right now, only Garland, Fox, Love, Cousins (noting the 2023-2025 are too soon to tell). This draft was 4 person deep at the top, so while the 5th pick is still a good pick, the Pacers took the risk to get a VERY good center.
- 2025: Ace Bailey (Utah Jazz)
- 2024: Ron Holland (Detroit Pistons)
- 2023: Ausar Thompson (Detroit Pistons)
- 2022: Jaden Ivey (Detroit Pistons)
- 2021: Jalen Suggs (Orlando Magic)
- 2020: Isaac Okoro (Cleveland Cavaliers)
- 2019: Darius Garland (Cleveland Cavaliers)
- 2018: Trae Young (Dallas Mavericks, traded to Atlanta Hawks)
- 2017: De'Aaron Fox (Sacramento Kings)
- 2016: Kris Dunn (Minnesota Timberwolves)
- 2015: Mario Hezonja (Orlando Magic)
- 2014: Dante Exum (Utah Jazz)
- 2013: Alex Len (Phoenix Suns)
- 2012: Thomas Robinson (Sacramento Kings)
- 2011: Jonas Valančiūnas (Toronto Raptors)
- 2010: DeMarcus Cousins (Sacramento Kings)
- 2009: Ricky Rubio (Minnesota Timberwolves)
- 2008: Kevin Love (Memphis Grizzlies, traded to Minnesota)
- 2007: Jeff Green (Boston Celtics, traded to Seattle)
- 2006: Shelden Williams (Atlanta Hawks)
I do agree with this, but I think Acuff is going to be star in the league.Still only 18 years old. Huge upside. Gotta be very confident with the medicals though.
You kinda figure he's unlikely to go at 15, either doctors will like what they see and he goes higher or they don't like what they see and he falls.
The Bulls had better not overcomplicate just taking whoever of the clear top 4 falls to them.
Those are all pretty impressive. Being in the top half of quite a few drills, then showing off elite athleticism....that's a guy that a team could take a shot on.
no, no. You stop that Andrej
Man, that run of guys after Valanciunas and before Fox is all-time-level bad. Hezonja and Robinson alone have to be on the top 5-10 list for worst #5 picks of all time. These are past 20 #5 draft picks. I think he is Trea Young 2.0. An absolute dynamo on offense, and a dis-interested and small defensive player. He will sell a lot of jersey's but he won't be a factor in May very often.I do agree with this, but I think Acuff is going to be star in the league.
I'm with you on both counts. This is a really good draft.I do agree with this, but I think Acuff is going to be star in the league.
I pegged him as a mediocre athlete
