Come back, build a legacy, and improve. He has a chance to come back, make more money, improve draft rise, and most Have fun being on court. Good youngman and play defense and improve smooth 3. Otherwise, I will cheer for him forever for helping us get to Final4!

I'll close, Andre doesn't have to improve on form from 3. Just be more efficient, always, always slash to rim and play defense like he did in Tournament. Ayo has made bread playing efficient, slashing to rim, and maybe 1 of 10 players who play defense in NBA. Dre's 3 will come in the future. Ayo's about to get 160$ million with that game plan. Kudos to Adre, and thank you regardless!

Maybe this has been asked: why have these guys shooting midrange jumpers when the analytics tell them these are not the shots to take in games?
You should have added the /s

Pretty much what I was thinking. Guess there’s always a remote chance given Wagler is “qualified” and has Illini ties, but it does feel like the top 4 are locked in except for the specific order.
i am biased and want wagler but not at 4. trading up 15 and players, future picks would be best but i would also consider trade down to 5-7 if boozer is left at 4. good gms will downgrade picks and get treasure heist sort of like fultz for tatum. boozer was the best college player but wagler will be the better pro. boozer just had ridiculous combine so hes like easily worth number 1 in other draft sell him super high you could get something like wagler plus top 10 talent back.

the bulls had the worst gm bc they could have had ayo, wilson and wagler if they sold last yrs pick which was a disaster.

Needs to change that funky release on his shot but that’s very hard to do
He knocked down some threes for us, just not a lot. To me, he always seemed hesitant to launch, and would only do so when wide open. I think confidence is the missing piece. I never saw him create a trey.

A lot of this was already baked in with KW. The book on him already was lack of athleticism but superior decision making/feel for game, efficiency in the p-n-r etc (things the Combine doesn’t really measure). His projections already factored all that in.

IF his stock drops (big if) it's going to be on the below expected height/length (wingspan), along with other guys testing/measuring better than expected. There may be scouts for whom his assumed length advantage was a big selling point. I highly doubt there are scouts who though he was secretly a high flyer and speedster.

I think that will pretty much be as expected for Keaton.

The standing vertical was potentially better than expected? It wasn't eye popping, but the result was a positive.

I think that the various quickness, change of pace and speed drills aren't a surprise. He's just not a guy who will wow anyone with eye popping plays in transition or any plays that will put him on Sportscenter highlights. At 6'5"(per his combine measurement), that will help him when being compared to a guy like Flemming who does display that athleticism. I'd guess NBA execs would prefer size over guys who are superior change of pace players(but smaller) in today's perimeter oriented NBA game, but who knows.

Our offense was perfect for Keaton. The slower pace allowed his skills to shine and having the floor spread allowed him to do what he does best, which is create space and shoot the eyes out.

I think that the comp to Haliburton is a good one. He's crafty as heck and can create a lot of space to get a clean look...and bury it.

The combine is solid for measurables, but otherwise is mostly performative. 30 shots is about 970 shots short of being useful to measure shooting ability.
Tidbit from a scout I know.

The shooting drills are less about makes and misses and whether you make 11/25 vs 13/25. The drills are meant to show your mental toughness, shooting form and cadence.

He said people that miss a ton in a row means they are succumbing to pressure. The guys that rush or slow down based on their shot falling, also an indicator to him and the club. And watching where the misses come in (left, right, long short) and the frequency of those tell them what the player is doing and thinking.

Found that to be super interesting.
