Curiously, the analysts just spent 2 minutes talking about how disadvantaged KU was due to injury and Self's health issues and then turned round and talked about how they "couldn't trust Purdue". What has Purdue done to garner that distrust? It's an average conference that over the last two years has performed far below average in the tournament. The conference has earned the negative reputation. Have to have to a great postseason to start changing the mentality.
But UNC is on that list……UNC Ashevillelooks like you left off scUM from that TV listing...................Oh wait, ...........................................................................................................lol......
Lost to Saint Peter's last year and two years ago lost to North Texas.Curiously, the analysts just spent 2 minutes talking about how disadvantaged KU was due to injury and Self's health issues and then turned round and talked about how they "couldn't trust Purdue". What has Purdue done to garner that distrust?
The Pearl Effect?Sad state of affairs.
Averaged 2.2 ppg. Seems like he was tired of benchwarming and decided he had nothing to lose draft-wise so he just quit the team.
And he averaged 10 minutes a game.Averaged 2.2 ppg. Seems like he was tired of benchwarming and decided he had nothing to lose draft-wise so he just quit the team.
Has anyone found a printable bracket that includes the location and tv station/time for each game? I found one for the NIT bracket. I have not found one for the NCAAM.
In case no one else found one either, here is a cleaned up list of game times. Sorry, I'm too lazy to convert it to CT.

To add, I have named this bracket "B1G Dunk Energy", because it just felt appropriate.
Averaged 2.2 ppg. Seems like he was tired of benchwarming and decided he had nothing to lose draft-wise so he just quit the team.

The attachment you provided has all of the information I want -- thanks. I can't get it to print cleanly though. If I open the attachment in a new window, all of the brackets are misaligned there too.
lol..............referred to as a star freshman and averaged 2.2 ppg.........something looks amiss in the reality of it all......JMHO..Averaged 2.2 ppg. Seems like he was tired of benchwarming and decided he had nothing to lose draft-wise so he just quit the team.
Agree with all the "not a huge deal" above, but how long until a true big star does opt out? We had this discussion during bowl season and most there said this would not happen in a playoff situation, as the players would want to win. Not in this case apparently.Believe it or not, he's actually projected as a late 1st/early 2nd round pick.
Michigan in no way should have been in. There have been like 3 teams in the history of the tournament that have gotten in with 15 losses on the year. And its not like they finished the year hot with their 3 game losing streak.Big ten should have gotten at least 1 if not 2 more teams in the tourney this year. In looking at the 8 highest Ken Pom rated teams that didn’t make the tournament, 3 were from the Big Ten. No other conference had more than 1. Rutgers for sure, probably Michigan(pains me to say it) should have been in.
Good Question.Curiously, the analysts just spent 2 minutes talking about how disadvantaged KU was due to injury and Self's health issues and then turned round and talked about how they "couldn't trust Purdue". What has Purdue done to garner that distrust?
Seems pretty unlikely... in my view why opt out now versus in say, mid-January? Playing a few extra games probably isn't a make or break injury risk and I'd expect the players want to play in this (big reason they come to college basketball over G League or whatever), it certainly wouldn't be looked on favorably (if you're opting out of the NCAA Tournament for the Draft, who is to say you wouldn't opt out of the NBA Playoffs for Free Agency?)Agree with all the "not a huge deal" above, but how long until a true big star does opt out? We had this discussion during bowl season and most there said this would not happen in a playoff situation, as the players would want to win. Not in this case apparently.
Not a single ESPN analyst pick a BIG team for the elite 8. Not one team. Thoughts?
For many of the pundits right now, the SEC and Big 12 are sexy conferences.
The latest AP Top 25 rankings:
Big 12: Kansas (4), Texas (5), Baylor (11), Kansas State (15), TCU (22)
SEC: Alabama (1), Texas A & M (17), Tennessee (20), Missouri (23)
The Big Ten teams spend all Season beating each other up in Conference so the loss side of the teams piles up. Also, the frequent ups-and-downs makes it harder for National observers to get a good read on the true strength of some Big Ten teams.
The Dance is the great reveal. That’s where you show your true place in line.
