CorrectI'm intrigued by the nuances of the NIL and coaching. I don't want to get too deep into its impact, but to me, it appears to be playing a big role in not only recruiting, but how a game is coached and decisions

And that's part of what I was getting atDefinitely playing a role in the stubbornness, I’ll leave it at that
Yet Brad just praised DGL specifically and says he’s gonna have to do something different with the starting lineup.I would transfer tonight if I was him.
I was a big Ben fan and still think he could be a decent contributor, but as the 7th or 8th man getting 10-15 mpg. He doesn’t have the stamina to keep up, and when he does exert himself to play good defense, his legs are tired and affecting his shot. The fact that he has the green light when it’s clear his shot is way off is infuriating.
I agree we were horrible tonight. We at least have a shot to turn it around. K. State is washed. You know who else is horrible?
Yeah his booty ball ain't it. I don't think its no where close to being effective. He only shot 1 non-3 tonight...so who knows if he can?
YesHate to even consider this given that BU has truly brought us back to national contention, but I think it has to be considered (not that Whitman would seriously do so at this point), is Brad's ceiling an Elite 8? With coaching like tonight I just don't see how Brad Underwood is even close to a leader whose team cuts down nets in March.
Definitely playing a role in the stubbornness, I’ll leave it at that
Ironically i think Matthew Mayer would fit this team more than BenMatthew Mayer team maybe? Right now this team is giving that team a run for its money.
You can’t be serious.Definitely playing a role in the stubbornness, I’ll leave it at that
Yep I got hooked on Illinois basketball when Lou had to play Neil Breshnahan at center. We weren't good but we played hard and fundamentally solid.Yeah, given how the early season was trending, I was expecting us to be truly dominant by now. I don't know what is going on. Is it the illness? The fact we rely on younger players who haven't faced adversity like this? Poor coaching? All?
I don't even know, but this is t even very fun to watch. It's one thing to watch a mediocre team fight hard and lose. Its another to watch a team with multiple future NBAers lay down and die.
This makes me sad because it's means the evaluation was bad. I think it was bad on Boswell too.You genuinely wouldn’t believe how much.
He doesn't have the lower base strength and lift to be a good booty ball player.Yeah his booty ball ain't it. I don't think its no where close to being effective.
Boswell was either lazy getting around screens or over committing to a shot fake on the other side of a screen. Also his jumper is always so hard with minimal touch. I thought he was going to be a much better shooter than thisBoswell continuing to get more minutes than DGL is comical. Ben was awful, Boswell has been right there with him.
Brad should be running wind sprints or suicides right now.Interesting post game on the radio with BU
We are the Mayer team again. You can’t completely turnover your roster every yearHas anyone else ever seen an IL team that was so consistently inconsistent?
And the guys making the TOs act like they just don't care that the F'd up. They do not value every possession. They take plays off. Then they repeat the same stupid unforced TOs time and time again in the same game. It is not AAU ball. The season doesn't start in March. I just don't get itthese turnovers are just due to casual and lazy passes, as well as TOTAL mental lapses. I think that speaks to poor effort.
