Those gotta be some big generators!Texans-Titans in Nashville start time delayed due to power issues in the area:
They mentioned on CBS that power at Nissan Stadium will be done so with backup generators to lessen the stress on the power grid.
too bad the energizer bunny is booked:Those gotta be some big generators!
I’m not sure why any fans showed up to watch the bears. The players certainly didn’t.
40+ years watching NFL football I can’t recall ever seeing a player decline so quickly and so completely as Russell Wilson in 2022. What an utter franchise destroying catastrophe. I also don’t recall a coach not even making it it through year one before getting fired and that has happened twice—Hackett and Urban Meyer—just in the last year. And both well-deserved dismissals to boot. Not even done with his first season and he's already out:

I really don't understand why everyone is surprised by Wilson's fall-off. Watching him the last couple of years, especially last year, it was clear he was on the downward slope. It's really not clear what the Broncos were thinking with that trade.
You make that deal if you're a ready-made Super Bowl team, which they very clearly were not and stripped themselves of all ability to get better with the assets they had to surrender to acquire Wilson.
And while Wilson has had a great career, that's not the guy I would have bet on, unlike someone like Matt Stafford who always seemed underrated and underappreciated and was in a position where the trade offered a big new opportunity to prove himself.
Totally, never made a lick of sense to give up those kinds of resources for a QB whose best was behind him, but he's been worse than anyone could have possibly imagined.I really don't understand why everyone is surprised by Wilson's fall-off. Looked like Wilson was trying to throw a shot put instead of a football last year.Totally, never made a lick of sense to give up those kinds of resources for a QB whose best was behind him, but he's been worse than anyone could have possibly imagined.
And what Geno Smith is doing makes it doubly humiliating.
And let's not ignore the reality that he brings personal qualities which just kinda can't sustain themselves if he's not the Super Bowl-winning superstar.Looked like Wilson was trying to throw a shot put instead of a football last year.
Also Wentz starting for Washington this week. Good news for the Packers.
