Boise was the better team tonight. Frankly they looked much quicker than Utah.
Boise played zone most all of the game.

Can we just talk about how terrible seeding was so far for the NIT? Tonight it looks like the Illini and Colorado State actually won for their seeding. Cal's down by 25 at the half.

The NIT is like predicting Bowl Games in football. Generally the team that wants to play wins, regardless of talent

Wichita State is 8, Kansas is 10, & Florida 9, etc. according to KenPom. I like KenPom, but obviously their system as some flaws. NCAA doesn't seem to have paid much (any) attention to KenPom's ratings.

And that was a 4/5 game, so not like either team was a decisive favorite according to the seeds.

Anyone know when time & date of the game will be announced? A weekend game might be a perfect excuse to drive down to Champaign!

As long as we can beat ISU, then we avoid pulling an "Illinois" and I will be pretty happy.
