They must have been practicing at NYU’s palladium gym yesterday. The other gym is where the actual NYU team practices and plays. Crazy they couldn’t get a full length court. There are many in Manhattan.

It was nice enough that they could have gone to Rucker Park.:thumb:

Statistical dead heat. Kenpom with Iowa at 100, UI at 101, with a .12 differential. That's about as close as you can get.

Iowa's point differential is +1.0. Illinois' is +2.5. Should be a close game. Lucas playing should help us contain Bohannon. Edge to Illinois because they have been in NY since Sunday night.

O/U is 160.5, this indicates a shootout. Illini now a 1 point fav.

This may have been covered but I don’t go here often. Why didn’t Big 10 use Brooklyn Nets home court and play same weekend asBig East?

Brooklyn Nets vs Madison Square Gardens? Do you want Big Ten to play second fiddle to Big East?

Thought I might get that response. We are already playing second fiddle by playing a week before. Had to scrunch schedule, etc. !*#! MSG! Bunch of NYC BS hype. Hasn’t been a big game there since Willis Reed played with a broken leg. I’m sure it is a rat infested dump like Boston Garden was. At least there were a lot of championships there. No, just a another dumb decision by Delaney.

To any players or coaches who may check out this board I just want to say good luck tomorrow and this weekend. As far as I’m concerned this is like the NCAA tourney because it is win or go home. I hope the players still care as much as we all do about this weekend. I am pumped because we are playing a lot better and I think are the team nobody is going to want to play. Have fun play hard like mad men and see what happens! I-L-L!!!!

I get what you're saying, but by moving our tournament up a week that's exactly what the Big Ten did.

Of course it is, and that's why the commish said next week next year or we take our basketballs and go home. That's called throwing down the gauntlet.

G Te'Jon Lucas So. 6-1 5.5

G Trent Frazier Fr. 6-1 12.5

G Mark Alstork Gr. 6-5 6.0

F Kipper Nichols R-So. 6-6 9.3

F Leron Black R-Jr. 6-7 15.7

FYI: Michael Finke's two three-pointers Sunday against Rutgers marked the first game he's hit multiple threes since hitting two at Ohio State on Feb. 4. He has just one other such game in Big Ten play, having made two at Nebraska on Jan. 15.

Off the bench

G Aaron Jordan Jr. 6-5 7.9

F Michael Finke R-Jr. 6-10 9.6

G Da'Monte Williams Fr. 6-3 3.7

Looks like lineup that puts premium on defense. Is mark smith out again?

Sounds like Mark is a bit weak. If we don't need him for Iowa, maybe he should rest.

I have the Illini winning this one 76-70.

I also foresee a record crowd. I am estimating around 1200 fans in the stands.

Underwood " you can't leave it on the court...". Usually you hear the opposite. Was he talking about the Rutgers game, and alluding to the fact that they need to carry that effort over to the next game?

He's saying they need to play so hard they have nothing left to give
