If we can get Bryant in foul trouble and Leron stays out of foul trouble then I think we can go down to the wire with them.

Question for those in the know ... I bought some tickets via Stubhub for an upcoming game in Sec. 136 - Legacy Club. I'm assuming we're good to get into that section simply with our tickets (we're not otherwise Legacy Club members/seat holders). Is that correct? The more pressing question is does that section serve beer?

Yes no issues getting in. To my knowledge only Traditions Club serves alcohol.

Bryant is going to dominate us on the block, unless we double, and I don't trust our rotations enough to be successful there. We need to hope Blackmon comes out wanting to shoot and comes out cold, and as a result we get ahead and hopefully build some foul trouble. I am not confident.

Guessing orange jerseys for this one since the last road loss to Maryland was in the blues. Or maybe they switch it up with the grays. Haven't seen those yet this year, right?

Also, being a road game, I don't see Black avoiding foul trouble while Bryant gets whistled. More likely to be the other way around, IMO.

I believe we are undefeated in orange this year as well. Northern Kentucky, and VCU i believe.

I am 95% sure they serve beer inside the legacy club. Note you have to leave your seats and physically go into the Club area (they have TVs there but you can't see the game). I'm sure the ushers can show you but look for the stairs down into the wavy blue glass area.

If you have Legacy Club access, you can buy beer/wine down there. However, you can't bring it to your seat. From my experience it was nice to get to the game 20-25 minutes early, enjoy a beer, then enjoy a second at halftime. I really do hope they adjust the rules going forward though to eventually let those sections enjoy the sweet sweet taste of alcohol in their seats as well.

It doesn't seem right that Wisconsin is a 1.5 pt fav @ IU tonight.

Well we could bury Indiana to 0-3 in B1G but I'm not sure we have the horses to keep up.

No Yogi and major TO problems give Illinois an outside chance here. I think the smart move is to pack the paint and force them to shoot the 3. They have two guys who can hit it with consistency, but one is ice cold recently and they aren't usually on the floor together.

Maybe Box & 1?

Do college teams ever run a box and 1? Such a gimmicky defense. You'd think college coaches could get you out of it pretty easily.

Maybe a triangle & 2.

I can't remember seeing it run in college. Was being sarcastic with the Box & 1, but it might be suited for a zone with hard close outs on 2 shooters. They have athletes that can flash to high post and get to rim but not many jump shooters from what I can tell.

Not sure if this was mentioned but IU's academic semester starts on Monday the 9th, so some students may be back. However, our game is part of their student break ticket package to the general public, so it won't be the normal student section.

I think the start is more important than ever for this one. IU really can't afford to lose 3 in a row at home (obviously). If they come out hot and get a quick lead then it will probably loosen them up and it will be a long night for us. OTOH, the longer we can keep a lead or at least keep it close, the more pressure they will feel and the more restless the team/fans will get. Hopefully that can lead to them forcing some things and making silly mistakes.

For those looking for some hope here remember that as bad as UI has looked on defense.... IU is actually substantially worse especially recently. No lead should be safe in this game with the lack of defense.

Does anyone think WI is more athletic than UI? Guess there defense is just lucky.

Get in their shirts and get in their heads. They're reeling right now after 3 straight losses, and if we can be aggressive early with some momentum we have a chance.
