With only one week to prepare, we'll likely score only one field goal.

I'm tired of thinking Illinois has a chance. I'm giving my heart a break this weekend.

Every week will be an experience. I won't say we'll win (we could), and I won't say we will or will not get blown out. They are going to run the ball amd burn clock. It could be a similar score as last night.

So wish we had even a marginally talented QB.....:(

I'll be on the sideline to watch this massacre too.

I vote to have Crouch start at tight end. He's an example of a good player locked into the wrong position.

Can we go without a quarterback?

Just thinking out loud. Have both Crouch and JGJ behind center and the play determines who gets the snap. LMAO. Could drive defenses nuts.

Hey, that might actually work. At least it might not be worse than what we have now.

If Crouch gets the ball JGjr leaks out for a dump option and if JGjr gets the ball then Crouch acts as a tight end or stays in to pass protect! Easy peazy! ;)

We need a triple-threat QB: pass/run/block.

"Dolan, you're a genius!" (from a Lowenbrau commercial, circa 1980....). And I'm totally willing to live with the potential JGJ interceptions at this point.

Regardless of the starting QB:

IOWA 56
ILL 10

I just can't fathom ILL covering the spread.

Wow! This has to be the most realistic thread ever!! Cannot fault all the big time scores because from what I and all of you have seen so far this season, one of those scores will be the winner. I think it is just a big guessing game from here on out as to when JGJr will be handed the reigns.

How nice will it be when we lose 35-0 and go, "Well, that wasn't so bad."

2019 can't come soon enough.

Hilarious seeing Iowa posters posting doom and gloom on their board. :D Trust me, my Hawkeyes friends and neighbors: we are JUST what ya need to get things back on track.

Ugh. This one will be bad. If you're in IC look for me, the 1 Illini fan tailgating with 9 Iowa fans. Kick one of the Iowa fans in the shins as you walk by.

I am looking forward to be in attendance for the end of the first quarter and the wave. Cool thing they have started. Living here I pray my kids are never in that hospital.

Two weeks ago, this seemed like it might be winnable. Granted, that required a bunch of Kool-Aid and some orange glasses, but still. Since then, they've lost twice and yet now it seems like we're going to get creamed. Go figure.

Honestly, Crouch should be moved to TE or H back after this season. The kid is big and can run, but he should be the one getting the ball, vs. the one in charge of getting rid of the ball.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if this was like a 7-6 Illini victory. Nobody expects it and then some ugly game happens where we get lucky.
