I think we are a more dangerous team without Chase. We won’t be as predictable and will spread it out and let Tommy show what he can do

I think we all need to sleep on this disappointing day and wake up with our heads on a bit straighter.
Brings to mind a famous quote attributed to Col. Creighton Abrams (and to an anonymous medic) at Bastogne in WWII: “They’ve got us surrounded again, the poor bastards”. There is advantage to being underestimated. We need to leverage it with the right attitude.
Didn’t say better said more dangerous. I rather have Chase in the line up and he is our best/consistent player

I am suddenly much less excited for this game...
In 1993 our record was 2-4 heading into a 13th ranked Michigan team in Ann Arbor, and we beat them. In 1999 our record was 3-3 heading into a 9th ranked Michigan, and we beat them. In 2008 our record was 2-2 heading into Ann Arbor, Michigan, and we beat them. In 2009, we were 1-6, and beat Michigan at home......drum roll please, the week after we lost to Purdue.
I do not believe we were favored in any of these 4 games. We are clearly now considered an inconsistent, yet still dangerous team. I heard someone say before the game yesterday "Which Purdue team is going to show up?". Well sadly we got the one that wanted to win. This is why the games are played. If our coaches can clean up the play calling, our players can clean up the mistakes, and we take more chances instead of playing not to lose, anything is possible.
That being said, my prediction:

In the unlikely event that we beat both Michigan and Northwestern, in this scenario we just need Purdue to lose one if its last two?? Since we would hold the tiebreaker against everyone except Purdue? Sorry, I have full jugs of Orange Koolaid since bball is starting, so still a bit delusional about our chances.

This reminds me of the crazy end of season scenarios last year for us to sneak into just a crappy bowl game through the back door. Much more significant this year. That's progress boys and girls.
I really expected it to be more than 17, especially if Chase is out.

its just from a betting standpoint, thats about where the line needs to be to get people to bet on either side.
