59-0 because they'll want to practice one field goal
a solid defense holds them under 72 but penalties lead to a scoreless visit

66-0.

A return to the 1970's -- pre Mike White. We just didn't look ready based upon today's performance.

Well the in laws are visiting and this game is on. God I hope it's nice enough to golf.

I would think as fellow pro-HCs they respect one another. Ash is an OSU guy so maybe Harbaugh wanted to run it up. Hopefully he takes it easy on Lovie.

The score will be whatever Michigan will want it to be.

Unfortunately, this looks like the correct answer. Bad game to bet spreads...Michigan should be able to do whatever they want and the only question is when do they get tired of scoring.

Somebody said they hope Lunt is back. Personally (and nothing against Lunt), I hope he's not. Trying to pass against Michigan is liable to get an immobile QB like Lunt killed. We have a few games left where we could be competitive if he's healthy but this ain't one of them. Plus, if we run basically every play, the clock keeps moving and this bloodbath ends quicker.

If they don't know already, this will be an opportunity for Lovie and staff to see just exactly how far the team is from being where they say they want to be.

Saturday's game between #Illini and @UMichFootball will be a college football first-

First time ever 2 former Super Bowl head coaches face each other as college football head coaches

Love Smith press conference

https://twitter.com/JWernerScout

Lovie: "We've been the homecoming team quite a bit this year."

Lovie mentioned Foster, Milan, Mosely, Corbin, Crouch as players who stood out at Rutgers.

Lovie: we found a way to win a game. Now we have to build on it.

Lovie: Players tell you whoshould play and who should start.

Lovie: Nelson and Green starting is based on them doing something in practice or us not liking what we had at positions.

Lovie: won't play guys based on talent alone. Intangibles matter. First time playing can be daunting.

Lovie: Nelson makes "tackle after tackle." Still a ways to go.

Lovie: Wes is getting better. No program in country will talk in detail about injury. We won't either.

Lovie: OL hasn't progressed as much as we need to. RBs are really creating plays. Need better play from OL.

Lovie: Harbaugh is a good football coach. They help the Big Ten. They help the Michigan program. Just a hardnosed coach, loves job

Lovie: Michigan's team plays a certain way, certain peronality under Harbaugh.

Lovie: The offensive attack is different than what we'veseen. More downhill than spread. "Big-boy, padded game that we'll see."

Lovie on James Crawford playing at DE: "One of our better athletes." Most good pass rushers don't start on DL

Lovie on Smoot playing some DT on pass downs: In Chicago, we played Julius Peppers everywhere to get matchups.

Lovie: Likes "everything" about Jabril Peppers. "Special player."

Lovie: We believe in taking the ball away. The winning edge is the turnover ratio. It will be that way always.

Lovie: Turnover ratio of +8 leads the Big Ten

It will take time as we simply aren't even close to scUM talent wise. I like the direction we're heading.
