Have our doctors on here yet weighed-in? I'm curious to know the more severe injury Ayo might have incurred with the broken nose. How severe might it be?

Actually ok with lineup against Mich.
Kofi - Dickinson
Jac. - Wagner
DMW- Livers
Ace. - Brooks
Trent. - Smith
Believe the matchups are ok despite the taller Livers and Wagner. Just need Ace and Trent to have good shooting games.

Rebounds and turnovers will be the name of the game.

We have to give up less than 5 offensive boards and be under 12 turnovers to have a chance, regardless of who plays.

Our lack of finding a body on the defensive end lately has been atrocious.

We don't value the ball either sometimes. Can you imagine what Bo Ryan would've done back in the day if he was our coach the way we handle the rock!!

Is Ayo playing Tuesday ? Has MSU player recieved any punishment for breaking Ayo's nose ? Griffin got immediate 2 games for lightly stepping on a player.

I hope we win, but we have no one to guard Livers, Wagner, nor the other 6.6 to 6.10 players they have outside to in. Not having a active stretch 4 is our kryptonite

It's pretty critical to me that we come out and punch them in the mouth in this game. It's going to be a close game all the way through but it would be really nice if we start out like 10-2 or something like that and force MICH to take an early time out.

Michigan is very high 2PT and 3PT percentage, along with defensive FG percentage.
Gonzaga and Baylor are high on 1-2 on the list, but not all 3. Michigan likely will have the toughest schedule, with Gonzaga the weakest.

My biggest knock on Michigan is at the PG and SG position, they are on the smallish side and don't strike me as overly athletic. I don't think Ayo plays this Tuesday and likely not against ohio state. He still has swelling under his right eye, along with the concussion/broken nose. I hope Sissoko was suspended for the next game like they would in football for targeting the head.

This team doesn't follow the rules sometimes, look at yesterday. They just find ways to win. Yes, it would be better to not have turnovers, and not give up offensive boards, but if scUM is missing their shots and we are hot from 3, and no one can stand up to Kofi, that works too.

Watch out for scUM editors on wikipedia 😂 Screenshot_20210228-132647.png

Yes, but sure would have been less stressful at the end to not have given up 10+ secondary points, and converted 5 baskets out of our 20 turnovers. That is 20 pts to work with, making it less likely for injury and resting for the next game.

We ill need that rest for B10 and NCAA tourney!

Michigan does pretty much everything well, and I don't think I've seen them rattled at any time this season (not that I've watched them a ton). I see us playing with them most of the game, but I don't like our chances without Ayo. IMO they're deceptively good.

We have to not get crushed on giving them offensive rebounds, 2nd chance pts.. For the love of hoops, less than 15 turnovers.

Things got a little interesting with OSU losing today. We need to play with urgency. We can get a one seed now without relying on games not on our schedule.

Frankly, I don't care even if Underwood had told the media. Why is CH talking about Ayo's injury on Instagram live???
Does it even matter? It would be handled internally anyway. And it's not gonna change the outcome of who has to play at all! Well still have to play with whomever is available!

Please don't remind me. 32 years ago standing in the middle of Gully's watching that seems like yesterday. A recurring nightmare after we crushed them twice in the BT that season.
As a fellow poster said it so nicely , that was "borderline criminal" that team didn`t win it all.....
