Nebraska plays Wisconsin Wednesday now. The game was originally scheduled for Thursday.

Yeah! Excited they are going to get this in. Hopefully, we will get used to winning again, but for now I'm really excited for any opportunity to watch an Illini team that is this good.
Nebraska is as close to a "gimmie" as we have seen since Ohio scared the $#!# out of us. Hopefully we maintain the tenacity we carried through last week.

Bite your tongue EB. There are no gimmies in this Big Ten. Remember we were down to NW 15 at half

Looking at the schedule, I don't see scUM getting on this schedule, unless they simply bump the second Nebby game and insert scUM. Of course, if it happened, that would be ending with 5 straight road games, Minnie, MSU, Wisky, scUM and tOSU.

This is really good news. scUM game probably does not happen, but at least we are not penalized for something we had no fault in at all.

Ohio, by the way, has won 4 in a row and 7 of 9 and is starting to look like the team that scared us. They might not catch Toledo for the MAC title, but they’ll be a serious threat for their tourney auto-bid.

Maybe Michigan game is added to March 9. First 4 teams get 2 days of byes in Big Ten Tournament and wouldn't play until March 12. Thus we could conceivably have OSU on March 6, Michigan on March 9 and then first game of Big 10 tournament on March 12.

St this point, we just need opportunities to put W's on so we can win the title, if we do so without playing scUM, it is their problem, not ours. Hopefully Wisc can beat them in Sat

Yeah, would be a nice chance to get backups in, like BBV. Is Hamlin cleared to play yet?

Teddy Allen is by far the best player on their roster - he's also not temperamentally stable. I foresee a double tech at some point in the first half.

Michigan out here postponing our game for questionable reasons. Meanwhile, look at this schedule Nebraska's playing coming back from their break:

2/6 @MSU
2/8 @Minny
2/10 Wisc
2/12 UI
2/14 @PSU
2/17 MD
2/20 PU
2/28 Rut
3/2-3/4 @UI
3/7 @NU

And I bet they'll keep making an effort to reschedule as many other games as possible (especially between the PU and Rut games). Nebraska has nothing to play for this season, and they're putting forth a tremendous effort to make these games happen. For shame, Michigan. For shame.

Other schedule items-

at Michigan State on February 23rd
Nebraska home game moved to March 2nd, 3rd or 4th

Dan, the Huskers website lists the @UI game as 3/1-3/5. Not sure where the discrepancy is coming from, just wanted to note it.

Or switch Mich to home game for us?

I think they will put mich Illinois on Tuesday 2 March. We both play the Saturday before and mich plays Iowa on thurs 4 March. Our neb home game would then be 4 March as well.

Nice! Though I'll admit these types of games are the least fun. :( I'm a nervous watcher, and we have absolutely nothing to gain from a win besides avoiding a loss and keeping pace, whereas a loss would be disastrous.

Luckily, I think the boys are dialed in. Let's go out, play hard, have fun and get a comfortable win to stay in a groove!
