You read across as the spread (-7) then the percentage of the total wagered and then the percentage of the quantity of bets. Same for the total and the moneyline odds.

So currently 96% of spread money has come in on Illinois (across 84% of the bets) and 99% of picking the winner money has come in on Illinois (across 81% of the bets).
You explained that very well. Thank you for posting.

I like all the optimism but the hardcore Illini fan in me sees the refs screwing us in front of a national audience. I guess if we totally dominate Nebraska the refs eventually realize that even they can't help enough and we win anyway. Could we please just win like 42-3 and be done with it? Just a comfortable, stress-free, happy, little walk thru the park?
Oh come on Lex old boy. Don’t you want a little drama in your life?!!! 🤪

Neb has nothing to lose. Unfortunately, we do. However, I think that’s when Coach B is at his best. We are wanting, demanding respect in the west. This game will go along way to help command that. We are fighting both current foes as well as our past blunders. Every win helps eradicate the narrative “they’ll blow this because Illinois”.

34-18, fighting Illini win.

I dont gamble - I have heard a local radio show say something about not being able to bet on an in-state event/team. Is this true...if I really felt confident in Illinois, are there websites or do I have to drive to another state? I was really considering this against Minny!
You can bet it if you drive to Indiana. It's more efficient to just have a buddy in a different state that can bet for you.

Line movement is definitely the public seeing a 17th ranked 6-1 team going against a 3-4 team and wondering how we aren’t two score favorites. I might not disagree, but I think these next two weeks are going to be trap-like games.

I don’t think anyone would say Nebraska is worse than us, but I do think they have enough talent to make this thing close.

After watching some of the PU/NEB highlights.....I just don't see how they hold Chase under 200.

If he has that kind of day, TDV could really bring the smoke with some play action passing.

Dominate the line....dominate the game.

Would like to see McCray get a dozen or so touches. Love Brown, 25 years ago he might have been the heisman favorite at this point, but having him touch the ball 40 times a game is something that has a high chance of hurting us in the future.

In whatever capacity, 300+ rushing feels like a fun goal.

if McCray only plays in 3 of the last 5 games, he could still red-shirt? wouldn't we want to try to do that?

When we win the west, we'll have the B1G game and a bowl game, so we'll have 7 games left. It's imperative that Chase doesn't have to carry the ball 40 times/game, and when healthy, McCray is by far our 2nd best option at RB, so he should play.

Maybe if we had a losing record at this point that would be a consideration, but we're balling out right now so the program should be focused on continuing to win. And having McCray available does that. We are in "win now" mode and it is glorious.

We want to go just as far as Chase and McCray can take us in running yards per game because that, combined with our D and DeVito's leadership, should take us to a very good bowl if not the CFP. We need to just go for it. Grab for the brass ring.

I think this game potentially poses an interesting challenge for us. As bad as Nebraska’s defense is, their offense does have some playmakers and they have the potential to put some points on the board. Our offense has quietly been improving, but can we count on our offense to carry the day in a hostile environment if Nebraska manages to put up say, 24 points? I think they can, particularly against Nebraska’s defense, but we haven’t seen it before.

We could also punch them in the mouth and get them into “here we go again” territory in the first quarter and win 42-10. Should be a fun watch regardless.

The line keeps moving. ILLINI -7.5
I mean, if you just look at what these teams have excelled at (and been subpar at) to-date, this just flat-out makes sense ... Illinois has looked like a much more complete team since our Indiana loss, and it's reasonable to expect our elite defense to shut down their okay offense and our (better-than?) okay offense to shred their AWFUL defense. However, being the Illini fan that I am and being so damn close to Indy that I can taste it ... yeah, I'm a bit nervous, haha - but honestly, only because we actually have so much to lose for once!

The ONLY reason to expect a close game here is if the big stage and the crazy atmosphere on the road rattles our guys. My head says that simply won't happen; they have been stone-cold killers all year, and I think they will come in and take care of business, making yet another statement with a big-time victory. However, my heart ... well, we've been hurt before. :ROFLMAO:
